You will love them. Work makes an amazing wheel.
Welcome to the Japanese wheel club! We are an elite group in the S550 community, LOL.
And the RS3's... AWESOME TIRES!!!! I had some of those on Enkei RPF1s on my Mazda3, and holy shit did they have some grip.
Oh HELL no!!!!
What that is doing is manipulating some sensor to provide more boost. It's a hack, at best.
You are much safer with an actual tune where fuel and ignition are optimized for the additional power.
So I'm an idiot and after many back and forth emails with Eibach I STILL ordered the wrong spring kit. To top it off, I did not even think to verify the part number before installing. WHOOOOPS!!!!
So with the GT kit, the front definitely sat higher than the rear. I was kind of bummed out...
That is some grade A horseshit right there. LOL
I would have ordered HD radio as a standalone option, but I did not want the rest of the stuff that came with it.
I can say, I'm not impressed at all with the 9 speaker system. Actually, it is rather disappointing.
It can be fixed with...
I have one of the louder systems available (MRT Turboback) and if I am cruising on the freeway maintaining the same speed it sounds completely stock on the inside of the car.
However, if boost starts to build the exhaust speaks up quickly letting me know it's still there.
Just swapped mine today.
They were mostly at .030-.031, with no real variance between them.
Went with one step colder Denso plugs at .028. Seems like the idle may be a bit smoother now, which is what I was hoping for. I've had this odd stumble at idle for a while now.
I'm willing to bet the MRT is up there as one of the loudest.
I finally heard my car as someone else was driving it, and holy crap I can't believe the noise it makes. It put a huge smile on my face.
No shit?
That is funny. The Ford service page the techs use has no mentions of splines or beating them out. In fact, I am about 99% certain it said to unscrew them.
Well, that is good to know though. Thank you. Since I have to redo the front springs this might save some time. :)
Yeah, I can't believe I dicked up this badly, LOL.
Oh well, life goes on.
At least my car is kind of lowered for now. I'll get the right front springs when they are available.
Well, nevermind...
I am a complete and utter idiot. I don't even know how I managed to eff up this monumentally.
These are the GT springs. I am an idiot, LOL.
I even talked to Eibach before placing my order, and still managed to order the wrong part number.
Shit...
