I have a Blackvue 1080p 60fps front cam in my daily driver (a hand me down from my last Mustang convertible) and wish it had a rear camera. I have a 4k Blackvue 2ch on the 18 GT. It's worth every penny. My hardest question to answer is whether I leave speed display enabled or disabled...
Self-solved. I ran through the steps and the check engine light came on during the relearn process. It then cleared when it said completed succesfully. Here's what the steps look like for those looking for this info.
So, rezzing this recent thread - on a whipple Lund car, did you do the crank relearn because you had misfire codes and/or a check engine light? Ir did you do it because you're supposed to do it with flywheel/clutch swaps?
I read someone did it who was not showing a CEL/misfire codes and got a...
Yeah I installed it three times. Same story every time even with new friction discs. Stock was nice and quiet. Pulled it a fifth time and put a McLeod in it this morning and it's also quiet with "normal" twin disc noise and gear rollover which I expect both. I'll keep ya posted. The 15-17...
I am trying to find some 2018-19 model year Mustang GT owners who have the Mantic cerametallic clutch installed in their car. I'd like to get some viewpoints on your experience with it - you can PM me or post here. I can't find anyone locally to bounce ideas off of.
I've done the 72 hour access and there's companies who will do the printing to pdf for you. I got mine from
https://www.factory-manuals.com/ford-mustang&28&160
I used them for my 2018 manual because I wanted it indexed for easy navigation. They compile the copy for you and you download it...
I just sold mine with 300 miles on it on the classifieds. It sounds good - it's louder than you'd think for a street catback, but if you've got cats, I doubt it would be an issue. Fitment was good - you have to adjust the tips and we had to bend a hanger but pretty normal stuff. Stainless...
When I did the CAI on my 15 GT, it was complete let down other than looking cool it didn't do much except make a bit more noise. I regretted it and sold it and bought a blower instead, which also made more noise and was at least 15 more hp for sure lol... if you like it - go for it. If you're...
Self reply as I never got back to this -
Speedway that I tested is 70% in the winter and was 85% in the summer. Hoping for the beldn switch back soon!
I have tested another Carmel E85 location and found 70% corn. Only the Speedway so far has been 85%. Not much to report but - winters...
I also manually rev match when going from gear to gear even though the computers trying to do it for me. I like doing it myself lol...
I drop from 6-3 and 6-4 or 5-3 fairly commonly and simply rev match into a smooth downshift. I don't think it hurts anything at all and it's the point of...
And, although not a shifter comment, I have an 18 GT performance pack car with the 6-speed and the clutch that comes in the 18-19 is probably the most forgiving and easiest clutch of any stick car I've ever owned. That should make your life considerably easier as you develop your skill with it...
Right on, man. I went with a blend of trans fluids that Ben Calimer recommended and I couldn't really FEEL if it's better/worse but I guarantee it's a fluid quality improvement. I'm tempted to try the BG that everyone talks about being night and day. That's what you used, right?
