I'm wondering this as well. I have this clunking noise when shifting (Been doing it since day 1) and my car is at the dealer now having this looked at among other things. I'll definitely tell them about this TSB! Do you have a reference number?
That's interesting...I'll have to do more research. Is there a way to turn it off? I don't have the car with me now to check.
Yeah hope to have her back out soon! I picked a good rainy week to leave her with the dealer.
Dealer called this afternoon and said they couldn't replicate any of...
Not from everything I read, only autos have rev-matching. We do have hill start assist, but that only holds the brake; doesn't do anything with revving.

FYI, my car is in the shop for this issue now, among many other issues (including body panel alignment)
Here is the thread for all my issues. I'll update this thread too if by some miracle they actually replicate the issue and figure anything out!
Jeff, I sent you a PM about these...
FYI, my car is in the shop for this issue now. It is back to all stock parts with the exception of the Roush Axle-back, and it still has this sticking/hanging idle issue.
Here is the thread for all my issues.
Yeah, I don't have high hopes. I hate the dealership experience in general. This is why I no longer buy extended warranties. Shoot, I would have taken an additional $Xk off the price of the car to forego the warranty..:headbonk:
Rev hold is only for Autos, I believe. The hanging I have is...
Here's what I gave the dealer when I brought her in. Hopefully they'll be able to replicate some of it. They are in order of importance. Some is minor, but wanted it looked at anyway :D I'll post updates once I hear from the dealer. She's at Phil Long Ford Chapel Hills (in Colorado Springs)...
****SHOULD*****
This is getting ridiculous. I don't even really care that much about the caps, but this whole back and forth we've all been having with Ford is dumb. The 2016s will start shipping before we get our caps!!!

I had issues from the start with the SCT. I had to have SCT send me a file to "unlock" my strategy or something like that, before it would let me load the Lund tunes.
Yeah i won't bring it in with the tune for sure...that's why I started putting it back to stock to narrow down the issue and then if it still hangs it is going to the dealer in stock condition. Yeah, I hate dealing with issues like this....I will be adamant about it and take the service adviser...
Yeah I can't find a lot of people with the issue. Lund has been trying to help me out but they too keep telling me it isn't the tune, and they haven't seen this issue on any other S550s. I thought maybe it was my elevation (6,000-7,000 ft) since that's a variable most people don't have? I'm...
Interesting...I just went over to stock tune yesterday, so I'm on day 2 of driving with stock tune and it still hangs some. I will try and get a video of it. I especially notice it if I let it rev higher than 3k in say, 3rd or 4th gear, then let off throttle with clutch in, like I'm slowing down...
Update....still hanging some. Went back to stock intake with Lund tune...still hangs...now I'm back to factory tune. Drove today and seems like it still hangs slightly....time will tell. It has this tendency to get worse over time after re-learn. Last part I have on the motor is the JLT oil...
I asked about this in a different thread and someone said it was normal because radio switches the audio tone when the top is down (volume goes up slightly maybe?) still seems odd to me.
