Yeah I've heard others saying that is the noise they get, while mine seems more like after you release the clutch, but it still could possibly be something in the drivetrain in your case...when taking a load OFF the axles? Hard to say...

Yeah I heard about this, and I didn't read about it until after I dropped the car off, so I haven't had a chance to check it. Probably isn't that bad on my car otherwise I think I would have noticed it, especially looking through the window in the rear-view mirror! :cheers:

No you were right, they're talking about the CV axles (same as half-shafts). I'm willing to bet this is the problem I'm having with the thud noise...and many others are noticing this too. I don't notice it when sitting still, just when shifting while moving. Either that or some driveshaft play...

Interesting...when I had my tune and CAI on, it was much worse. I wonder if it is a different issue I'm dealing with. I thought this issue was the underlying issue, but maybe it is like you say...its normal. It isn't that annoying with stock intake/CAI, but when I have my CAI and tune it gets...
