I chatted with a Ford Racing rep today and they said their cat-back systems do indeed fit on the convertibles. I wouldn't believe them 100% until I've seen that someone in real life has tried it, though :cheers:

Your statement is 100% incorrect. ;) I have a Roush axle-back on mine and it fit fine, because it splices into the factory exhaust behind where the extra braces are. FRPP axle-backs splice in the same spot, so those should work on convertibles too. Not all axle-backs are created the same...

I got the Roush axle-back on mine as soon as it came out. Absolutely love it! There are others on here who paired it with a resonator delete and it sounds good too, but I don't want drone and I'm happy with just the axle-back. :D Here's a video of mine: From what I under, the FRPP cat-backs...

Yeah same here. It is pretty annoying to be yanked around like that, even though it's something you don't even really need right now (I don't think I'll ever use them honestly...lol).

I haven't fully tested it (don't really want to! :)), but I read that it only "pre-charges" the brakes for you, along with the red bar flashing. I'm sure part of it is because it wouldn't work too well with a manual transmission if it did that! :doh:
