Funny you ask. I’ve had more people contact me about buying the recaros than about buying the car :) I’m committing a travesty and putting the 350 recaros in my track mini. At the end of the day it didn’t make sense to sell perfectly good recaros just to then go buy almost identical recaros...

The car is officially gone. In the end, I sold it back to the dealership that did most of my service. It’s not quite what I wanted to get, but it was still $7k more than what I purchased the car for 2.5 years and 9300 miles ago. Not horrible. It took 62 days to replace the engine...

I highly doubt it’s true, and I’m sure someone will chime in shortly. You could easily take up the seat delete and check underneath. I think the only tools required are a trim removal tool and 3x 12oz beers….. might be 4, can’t remember.

I just watched it a few more time. It looks like ahead of him there are two car transport trucks, one on each side of the road. It also looks like someone may be walking next to the truck parked on his side of the road. As he approached and saw the narrow gap between those two trucks he slammed...

The days of claiming you swerved to avoid a squirrel in the road are rapidly fading :) Sad to see that happen to such a capable car.

In my experience, yes. Typically you can see an outline of the pad. It’s also totally possible setting the parking brake even temporarily rapidly cooled a small section of the rotor, which led to warping. There may be no visual indication.
