Welcome to the GT350, where those who track their cars either have experienced this, or will at some point. In my experience with 3 starters, itâs usually a sign youâre getting closer to a total failure. Start parking uphill at the track if able where you can pop the clutch after rolling to...
Iâve got a black â19 thatâll be on the market soon with a new engine, new transmission, 5 years left on the bumper to bumper. Iâll make ya a deal ;)
WelpâŠ. You know where I stand :)
If you can stand working with a different platform, you can get a killer track car for what you can currently get for your car.
I get it Bill Gates⊠youâre so stinking rich that loosing a $65,000 car on track wonât affect your mood or net worth. However, for us normal people (aka peasants with sub $4mm net worth), paying $300âish per track weekend to insure our family grocery go-getter doesnât seem so bad. Itâs every...
- For 2020âs there is an exclusion.
- Thatâs why god made track Insurance!
- If you donât occasionally go agro, youâre not trying hard enough :)
Nice. The description makes perfect sense.
I love that safety wire is used so extensively in aviation. I got my first lesson in safety wiring from an A&P. I figured who better to learn from.
All is being said, does anyone have evidence that stock plastic plugs ever shoot out or back out? I...

This subject came up in the gt350 forum, and the only place we could find where it said you need to replace the factory plug after every oil change, was on Ronins website. Lol.
I felt the same wayâŠ. Right up until my ronin plug was ejected during a downshift while on track. I lost all 10 quarts. Luckily I got the engine shut down in time and saved it.
After posting about my issue, I had 4 different gt350 owners reach out and say they had identical issues with their...
I have a few sets of takeoffs I could sell of the 305/30âs. No pictures unfortunately, but honestly I couldnât tell a difference. I do however have the FP springs which makes that gap look smaller.
Iâm a huge fan of the 305/30 in the front and 305/35 in the rear. Amazing grip on track exactly...
The spark plug was just collateral damage. A valve found itself in the cylinder and beat the living crap out of everything it touched, including the spark plug.
Quick update. Ford initially approved a short block and head replacement⊠until the dealership found out theyâre on a 3-6 month backorder. So, the dealership asked ford for authorization for a long block, and ford approved. Apparently longblocks can be had in 8 business days.
For others whoâve...
