You can buy a purple seat pad which helps. It’ll mostly fit in the center portion of the seat, making the point your hips hit the bolster higher up, which should relieve the pressure.
No experience from them specifically, but the good news is you have between 60-120 days (depending on your state) to initiate a chargeback. I believe that time starts from the time you receive your statement. Might be worth giving them another few weeks if you really want the gear. Chargebacks...
Bummer, was hoping it was one of the north side dealerships.
Ray Skillman is pretty close to there. Their performance department is top notch. They’d be my choice for a prebuy inspection. They regularly deal with boosted 350’s.
Sorry…. If it wasn’t 40 min each way for me I’d offer to help out...
In the past when I had VCT issues, it was either the solenoid itself, or the wiring going to the solenoid. The electrical connectors at the vct solenoids are famous weak points in the 350. Check the wiring to make sure all of the pins are fully in place on the harness side of the connector...
Man….. if I took you through the rollercoaster it’s been on my side you wouldn’t believe me. The delays 95% stem from me not owning a Mach 1, the other 5% from the precarious position the oil filter is in. Finding a hold-down mechanism proved to be too hard when only being able to test on a...
The hero we need :)
Thanks for the offer. Hopefully there’s someone closer who could help out, but otherwise I wouldn’t say no!
Right now we’re targeting Nov 10-12.
Thanks for suggesting that. I think you’re talking about the PP1 oil filter guide that someone made 4’ish years ago. If that’s...
As some of you may know, I’ve been trying to bring an oil filter guide for the M1 to life for quite some time. The purpose of this 3d printed piece is to guide the oil out from the oil filter during an oil change to the trap door with minimal mess. We’ve had huge success with the gt350/gt500...
I’ve started a day at 35 degrees with overcast skies and spitting snow….. 4 out of 10, would not recommend. Once the tires got warm it wasn’t horrible. In general, I’d say 45 with sun is good. Just take it slow until you can scrub some heat into them.
For reference, I went through ~14 sets of...
Not theoretical at all…. Apparently you’ve never left the house, gotten 4 houses down then the wife calls to tell you she’d like to see you in the bedroom ASAP! In moments like that, speed matters!!
Super old post but I figured I’d post this for posterity…. We did the math in another thread a few years back. Using stock tire size and gearing of the 350 and 350R, we arrive at:
For the GT350:
1'st gear = 55mph
2'nd gear = 80mph
3'rd gear = 111mph
4'th gear = 144mph
5'th gear = 178mph
6'th...
I’m going to guess that Michelin tells you the shelf life on a tire like that is only around 5-6 years regardless of how it’s stored. As rubber ages, especially soft rubber, it becomes less pliable.
He just sent this to me. Here he is, signing the white car that he sold my buddy. Again, I love the internet sometimes!
Sorry…. I promise this is the last message out of me for the night :)
