I'm planning on getting a set of winter tires and wheels from tirerack, unless anyone has a better suggestion. Because I have PP with the large front brakes, would 18" wheel clear the front brakes? I've read that only 19" and higher would, but just trying to confirm. Also, what should the offset...
I am still on the stock summer P Zeroes. Hell, it's almost November. I'm going to order a winter set soon. Does anyone know what offset should be? I'm looking on tire rack and found a nice looking set of rims, but there are 2 versions, 32 and 38 mm offset.
I actually like the new Camaro. Looks pretty good IMO, but the rims on that one are hideous. That and the huge tires and gap. Other than that, its a pretty good looking car. Definitely a worthy competitor to the Mustang. GM really stepped up their game in the last few years. The new Camaro is...
Yes, it makes it smoother and puts less wear on the clutch. It's very easy on the Mustang as it goes to the right RPM automatically for you when you press the clutch in and blip the throttle.
Ummm, don't really know what to say. The thing is a lot of people don't really care about you or your car. I'm also 18, but don't show off with my car (or live paycheck to paycheck for that matter, a terrible idea btw). I got the car because I love how it looks and I love driving it. I could...
Just about market value. KBB for your car say $18,500. Not too many places will give you KBB. 16k, isn't that bad, if you can get them to 17,500 or 18k, I would take that and run. Realize that there is no way that your car is worth 24k. That's a new base ecoboost OTD. Your car is now previous...
That's terrible that you had to go through that. Though, in So California, there are lots of dealers. I would've walked out the moment they tried selling a base GT for 42k.
I got mine from Bell Ford in Colonia, NJ. The salesman I had was Victor. Great guy and made buying it a breeze. It was honestly the quickest buying experience ever. Price was pretty decent as well. Slightly above X Plan, but that was a month ago when no one had a 2016. If you do end up going...
I agree about the camaro part, but in the past, Mustang took many years to refresh. For the 2005-2014 Gen, there was a refresh for 2010 MY and again for 2013 MY. 5 and 3 MY gaps in between refreshes. It's definitely possible though with the new Camaro which didn't exist when the S197 came out.
A refresh for the MY 2017? That seems pretty early considering the car was only released in for MY 2015. OTOH, maybe they're trying to improve it to go up against the new camaro. Either way, I just picked my 2016 up a month ago, so as excited as I am about the new one, I don't think I'm getting...
Although you might qualify for a lemon, that may not be the best way to proceed. Keep in mind that even after Ford agrees to a buyback, it will still 1-2 months to complete the process. On top of that, there will be a usage fee for the mileage when the problem first started, so if that's around...
There only 1 thing I love about California, you don't need license plates on a new car for up to 6 months I think! Seems great. Love your car, ;). I love how Ruby red looks. Did you try to get a PP?
Completely normal for both of them! You get the best fuel economy when A/F is up at 20 because it cuts fuel going to the engine because the momentum of the wheel speed keeps the engine moving instead of fuel. If you push the clutch in, you'll notice it go back down to 12-14.
I have a connector with 4 wires in it. 1 is positive power, then there are two unknown, most likely for the auto dimming feature and then there is ground.
Although I have previously said go for it, I do agree with other's saying that you should get a cheaper car like an ecoboost. That will save you 7-8k from the purchase price and will make the payment much easier. It will also be better on gas, etc.
Go for it man! I'm in a similar situation as you. In college, worked for almost 2 years and needed a car to commute to school and work as my last car went back to Chrysler. In a similar fashion, I convinced my parents (we're well off) to match how much money I would put down. They agreed. Long...
Who here has the highest mileage on their S550? Post pictures for proof!
I have around 550 miles after picking her up on 9/7/15, labor day.
For people with high mileage, have you had any issues and what mods do you have?
