  1. Center Dash Not Aligned

Either you live with it looking janky every time you glance at it or you utilize your warranty and have it all replaced and fixed.
  2. KPM Fuel Systems

I remember seeing their old kit a long time ago but was it a reputable kit? The Aussie guys seem to do huge power platforms really well so I’m interested in what this upcoming kit can do vs the usual Fore triple 285s
  3. Additional parts/mods beyond built short block

Yeah I ended up ordering FFRE Stage 3 block the other day. Hopefully can get it put in and buttoned up before the end of the year. I don't think you could go wrong with TKM either though. Their program seems pretty legit. These two builders were at the top of my list to go for.
  4. Additional parts/mods beyond built short block

Thanks guys, I’ll go ahead and order these and get started on this build. Probably will need some random gaskets/seals here and there but I believe this is the bulk of misc additional components I should get. If i have time and will to, I’ll continue this thread on over to the Member...
  5. Additional parts/mods beyond built short block

I've been running in the 750-800whp range for maybe 6 years now on the Gen3 2.9L Whipple. What I was hoping whenever I do convert to twin turbo, it would be roughly the same whp on wastegate.... then turn up boost for events (half way up for funny business on the streets). I'd be happy for a...
  6. Additional parts/mods beyond built short block

Cool okay, I’ll add those to my list. It’s these little things I’m afraid I’ll miss or have to order after the fact. I'm still debating if the TKM 5.2 Predator is "enough" or just over build and go for a sleeved Coyote.
  7. Additional parts/mods beyond built short block

Hey all, I’m about to order a built short block for my 2015 Mustang GT and was wondering what else you guys would recommend/suggest to complete the build? I’m shooting for ~1250whp whenever I convert to twin turbo, just prepping to the motor to handle it for the longer run. I have billet OPG...
  8. Coyote Cast Iron Block

Yeah this obviously wouldn’t be for me or majority of people. Just thought it would be interesting if anyone here actually was considering one of these if it was actually capable. For 1/4, 1/2, 1mi racing where you could just throw more boost with maybe more reliability. Seeing the PRP RB26...
  9. Coyote Cast Iron Block

https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6010-M50X Has anyone considered one of these for their build? At what point would one go this route vs a Predator or sleeved Coyote?
  10. Fine tuning the traction control:)

I just emailed [email protected] as well as every Motec dealer in my state asking about it. @Angrey, whenever you have your car dialed in... could you record some demos of the traction control in action? I'm interested in how it plays with the Whipple in your set up. I also have a Whipple but...
  11. Fine tuning the traction control:)

So Motec got back with me. Looks like it's not ready yet for the 6R80 but apparently they are displaying it at PRI 2023 soon and hope to release it in Q1 2024. They're making a new adapter box that they're testing on one of their cars. It has the stuff onboard to control the 6R80 natively.
  12. Fine tuning the traction control:)

I'll reach out to them to see what's up. I had asked Real Street Performance like 1-2 years ago and at that time, it was all custom harnesses and nothing plug n play yet. Have mostly been interested in the traction control strategies. Who is your tuner?
  13. Fine tuning the traction control:)

Does Motec make any PNP kit for 6R80 yet?
  14. Considering going to TT setup

Yeah I know the power delivery is very different especially on the top end and that's why I want to change it up. Different boost levels for whichever type of activity on the fly will be nice.
  15. Ohlins Road and Track s550

I’ve been running the J&M Ohlins R&T 300F/900R for about a year now. I mostly run it daily at full soft 20 clicks front and rear and it’s been nice. Probably the most street compliant coilovers I’ve owned of all my cars.
  16. Considering going to TT setup

I think what made me question about going bigger is the Aldo setup my shop runs are 6266 journal bearing turbos. I'd image a ball bearing version would be noticeably better in overall drivability. It's probably been like 20 years since I've toyed with turbos in my WRX but those were tiny...
  17. Considering going to TT setup

The shop that I go to has 2 Mustangs each running an Aldowelds kit with non-ball bearing 6266 and Hellion kit with Comp oil-less 6062. They both look nice from what I can see so it wouldn't matter to me which one I could end up with. I was leaning more towards Aldo mostly because he's local to me.
  18. Considering going to TT setup

I'll settle for around or under 1000whp. I run both my pumps hot. Yeah I thinking of going smaller than what he offers so okay that makes sense to get just his kit without turbos. I'll look into those 5558s as another option.
  19. Considering going to TT setup

Hey all, I was considering going for an Aldowelds mid mount turbo kit in the near future and was wondering a few things for those who have similar setups. I've been running a Whipple 2.9L on my 2015 Mustang for 6-7 years now and just wanted to change it up. Not looking to break any records, I...
  20. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

I would definitely check your alignment specs. There should not be any stability issues at freeway or slightly excessive freeway speeds.... unless you're flooring it for no reason in inclement weather . And yes recheck your suspension install and wheel bearings for issues. I've done Texas Mile...
