This is interesting info !! went with the shorter 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET STREET R’ cause I also have the 3:15 rear, figured the 26 inch tall tire would help the 60ft. I do agree it looks kinda silly .. might have to give the 305 tires a try.

Are those 275/40/17 you using in the rears the ET street R’s ?

they fit great on my car it’s a 2020 Gt. The driver side needs the flange , cause the catalytic converter is a one piece design to stock headers

used MAK cat-delete offroad pipes for 2015-20 Mustang GT , pipes are in great condition . you will need to buy the extra flange for driver side.. $350 plus shipping cost.

when im at the drag strip , i have the car in dragstrip mode , and the shifter in D . never tried dragstrip mode and the shifter in S . might have to try that next time

Have you tried a higher RPM launch To see if you get a better 60ft time ?

Yea. I’m experimenting to see what my car likes for a launch RPM’…. I cut a better 60ft with a 1200Rpm(1.79)launch compared to 1800rpm (1.83).. I have the 3.15 gear , kinda figured I would need more rpm for better 60ft. Not sure now.
