  1. Hitting the dyno today at 10:00 AM - Guesses?

Yeah .028" is a much friendly gap for boost, glad you got it figured out, spark blow out does suck, I've had some customers run into it, and like you, they pulled the plugs out and they widened on their own. Had one who gaped them at .028" and after 500 miles they opened up on their own to...
  2. Question about testing e85

This is why you want to test your pump e85. This particular fill up was e70, which has a stoich value of 10.7. Since this car runs a e85 tune(not flex fuel) it needs to have an accurate stoich value in the tune in order to avoid running into fuel trims that are out of spec(I personally like...
  3. Hitting the dyno today at 10:00 AM - Guesses?

Can you post one of the datalogs were you hit 11psi? Looking at the log you posted the MAF flow rate is linear. You are seeing 77#/min, which should of made more than 580whp. Your fuel trims were also +1-3% during the pull, when there is a boost leak between the MAF and the TB on a centri/turbo...
  4. Accessport and tuners

Sell the access port and go with a nGauge from a reputable tuner...
  5. Best Tuners for TVS cars?!?!

You are going to have a few to pick from when it comes to remote tuning: In no particular order: - Rob Shoemaker - Sai Li - VMP - Lund - Palm Beach Dyno
  6. SVE Axleback Exhaust

They are most likely Roush replica's, should sound identical since most straight through perforated mufflers tend to be designed and packed the same
  7. Oil viscosity for gt350/cj manifold rpms

I run 5w-30 on mine and rev to 7800rpm multiple times a day. Unless you are pushing the car to it's limits at a HPDE you will be fine on 5w-20 or 5w-30.
  8. Can you make logs with the procal when buying the ford performance tunes?

If you are using HPtuners v3.6 you can read, write, and datalog the Ford Racing tunes now
  9. LMR Cruise-In this saturday 9-2. Roll Call?

Most of the WSS club will be there, we are driving up from Austin
  10. Intercooler Pump

Thats the 13/14 GT500 pump, it flows more than the olde Bosch style pump. You can swap it out pretty easily, it's just a 12v and ground wire on it so as long as you get the wiring right you can swap right over

    Go HPT...
  12. Lund Racing nGauge Teaser at Lethal Performance!

It's prob going to be the nGauge+Lund tune, NGauge is pretty strict on MAP for just the gauge by itself...
  13. PMAS high inlet question

That normal, like others have said, it's bc the open element filter is exposed to engine bay heat. While sitting still there is no moving air for it to draw from so it sucks in hot air from engine bay and that air way hotter than ambient. The temps will quickly drop once the car gets moving at a...
  14. Fuel system question

We need to know more about your set up and what fuel you will be running
  15. Hey you FI dataloggers

That is a lot of timing for 91 octane. Would definitely want to turn the timing back a bit, turn it down to 15-16* of spark advance and see how the car does. 91 octane is your main limiting factor though
  16. Hey you FI dataloggers

You should have ZERO or NEGATIVE KR. If the KR value is positive you will nee to troubleshoot accordingly. IF you feel it's real knock due to 91 octane, toss some torco or 100+ octane fuel in there and see if it goes away. If it does then it's real and you need higher octane fuel, less...
  17. Steeda ProFlow Ultimate Induction Power Pack??

Looks like the Steeda induction pack is just their intake and a tune with a SCT handheld unit The steeda intake is the second highest flowing intake behind every PMAS intake though, so it's not the worst intake you can get and should see good gains from it as well.
  18. Tune for Whipple stage 2

Those are really good numbers. Your gains will definitely vary but on average the included canned files are pretty conservative. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up 50+whp by just changing the tune.
  19. Emissions readiness monitor NOT set

We've been testing a few settings ourselves. We have a few changes that helped a stock manifold car complete the catalysts, o2 sensor, and o2 heater after only a few drive cycles. These settings how ever did not work on a long tube car, least they didn't seem too, we are going to turn off flex...
  20. Is there too soon a time to tune?

Maybe at least wait till your first oil change lol
