  1. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

no, larger lines create less friction, less friction = less pressure drop acrcoss the an identical lenght of hose(6an vs 8an). The flow gains would be minimal, on a high pressure EFI system, pressure drop across hose is a lot smaller than it is on a low pressure carb set up. So IF you are only...
  2. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

Ask and you shall receive, also I might offer a upgrade kit for you to replace your feed line with a 8AN line and include billet rails, thinking somewhere around $350...this would let you go true return so you won't have to worry about vapor lock
  3. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

Bulkhead for the feed, on the tank side you route it to the 2 pumps, on the top you route a single line to your rails. Again, only a idea in my head right now, might never come to fruition
  4. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

You could do that, it wouldn't be hard at all to drill out the hat and add a bulk head fitting in order to go with larger lines. Once this kit gets out I am actually planning on upgrading those GT350 pumps to the new DW400's(which flow 31% more than the Walboro 455's) to help support 1kwhp+ on...
  5. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

My dead head system will be cheaper by ~$100-150...my full return with billet rails will be around ~$1,000...it'll be cheaper if you go with the our budget regulator vs aeromotive in the standard kit...but don't quote me 100% on the prices yet, how ever the goal is to get a full return system...
  6. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

I was aiming for black friday pre-orders and kits to start arriving before x-mas, but currently not accepting orders yet as I finalize the install guide for s550(already finished the one for s197) and work with another vendor on maybe carrying/stocking it(which would let me focus solely on...
  7. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

While having larger lines does allow the pump to flow more LPH since there is less restriction in the lines, you are going need a car capable of maxing out this system to know what the max of it would be. Logging your fuel pressure and IPW/IDC is the only way to know for sure. The "max"...
  8. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

I could probably make you the line if you really wanted. You would need about 110" of hose if not a little more to do it yourself along with all the correct fittings. How ever you wont see much gains on the Sai kit by doing this since he doesn't include new rails and you will be limited by the...
  9. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

I am not making a returnless system, both the dead head and return system will have a regulator to return fuel to the tank. A dead head will just use the OEM rails instead of a new set of billet rails 13/14 GT500 has a vertical outlet(s197 style) on the pump and the GT350 has a horizontal...
  10. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

his kit works somewhat like a dead head, where the fuel can enter the rails but never passes via the regulator, how ever the regulator can open in order to vent excess fuel to prevent over pressurization of the system. The one I'm working on and referring to Dead head the regulator is the tee...
  11. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

What I meant by it is I will offer 2 systems: Deadhead includes: - PTFE braided hose to connect from OEM line to OEM fuel rail and also the FPR(the tee) that will regulate pressure at whatever psi you set it too and send excess fuel back into the tank. This means fuel is NOT constantly flowing...
  12. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

You cannot keep it returnless, if you swap to the fuel pump assembly you MUST go return style, the OEM assembly has a 58psi mechanical regulator built into the hat, that is how it prevents over pressurizing the system. The GT500/GT350 work off ofpulse width modulation, so they do not need a...
  13. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

You should be able to see quite a bit from the gt350 set up, especially if you add a BAP and run them at 17v.
  14. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

Fuel system will be available for purchase, haven't finish working on pricing yet, but I will have either a Dead head or full return system available. I just finished up the initial install of the first full return on my personal car to wrap up the R&D for it a few days ago. On my car I went...
  15. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

The pump has a 3/8th outlet, it's one fitting on the hat, the rest is part of the PTFE hose. I'll be releasing a kit that will be very similar to mine, how ever on s550 models you can re-use the stock feed line at the hat with out the need of the adapters. You would only need to run your own...
  16. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

That's how I did it on my kit. Ran my own AN feed and return, mine is 6AN though(8AN is easily do-able), it will support about as much as the pumps can. You can always BAP them to get a little more out of them too. Second pump can be wired to activate off of a Hobbs switch as well.
  17. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

I may go to C&C, haven’t decided yet, haven’t gone since that day the cops were pulling people for 1mph over limit.
  18. Adding fuel Filter to Sai Li and GT500 vs GT350 Pumps

You need hoses like these, teflon core, braided stainless with nylon braided outer layer. They will survive engine bay heat and e85 use. These are the lines I am including in a fuel system coming out soon... To the OP, you will want to replace the OEM feed line to easily add a in line filter...
  19. New on3 top mount twin turbo kit for s550's

It's their own line of turbos, they have a few ball bearing options and billet wheels models too, plenty of people have a ton of miles on theirs on the S197 platform...
  20. E85 Fuel System advice

When you use a Y to feed both rails and then route them to your regulator you will have even pressure amongst both rails, what I mean by this is both rails should see the same amount of pressure in them and both rails will experience the same amount of pressure loss should you start to run out...
