  1. Removing Driver Seat Leather Covers '17 GT Premium

Here is my write up: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/disabled-lumbar-support-on-gt-premium-seats.110617/#post-2356328 Removing the seat cover from the seat bottom is super easy. The seat back seems like it would be tougher based on videos and write-ups I've seen. I only had to...
  2. Power Mirror Issue?

I have noticed mine do this too about twice now since I've owned the car (new, 5 months). The first time I only caught the end of it, but the second time I saw it do it and stopped it before it got to the limit and clicked back into position. It seems, for me, to only happen when I'm already...
  3. Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals - Who Got'em!?

Are you saying you emailed them to see if they had anything or it was an email sent to you? I am about to spend $780 on wheels, that 10% off would be nice.
  4. Winter Wheel/Tire Cost

I'll do another round of searching and see what I can find. I haven't mentioned but I have the PP so most likely need 19's.
  5. Winter Wheel/Tire Cost

I had checked several times but couldn't find much. I did not look for S197 wheels though. Did they run 19's?
  6. Winter Wheel/Tire Cost

I had been looking through the classifieds section for about two weeks but didn't see anything. When did you sell them? Also what wheels did you have?
  7. Winter Wheel/Tire Cost

I'm gearing up for my first winter with the Mustang and looking through other threads out there, it looks like people are paying under $1500 for wheels and tires. I'm looking at Michelin X-ice Xi3's and PP style AM wheels (w/ TPMS), both are some of the cheaper priced options, and this is still...
  8. First Winter Coming Up With The Mustang

You're talking where the wheel sits against the car, where it gets bolted in right (not sure what that term is)? Is that sold as a spray, gel, etc.?
  9. First Winter Coming Up With The Mustang

How will I know if I need the spacer? Just when I go to install and it hits the brakes?
  10. First Winter Coming Up With The Mustang

This will be my first winter with a rear wheel drive, non 4X4 vehicle. I used to have a '98 Dodge Ram 4x4 with all seasons (I think) and a '12 Ford Focus with all seasons. I don't recall being impressed with either vehicle in the winter time. When I bought the Mustang this year, I knew I...
  11. How To: Cloth Removal and Leather Install

If none of the above has worked I'd probably take it into the dealer under warranty and have them figure it out.
  12. How To: Cloth Removal and Leather Install

Are you able to see if there is any damage to pins in both the male and female ends?
  13. How To: Cloth Removal and Leather Install

My harnesses then the negative cable
  14. How To: Cloth Removal and Leather Install

May have a damaged pin if none of the above helps. I didn't wait any specific time between disconnecting my negative cable and unplugging the harnesses. It was probably only 5 minutes if that.
  15. Line Lock - Wheelspin Feeling Afterwards

I definitely didn't do the whole 15 seconds so worse case it was 3-4 seconds of unknown. And again I didn't smell clutch so it's possible I had wheel spin I wasn't aware of. I'll keep an eye on it.
  16. Line Lock - Wheelspin Feeling Afterwards

Yeah honestly, I thought I took my foot off the clutch pretty quickly, taking no more than a second to do so, which I would have thought would have been fine. What I THINK happened, is when I was around 2.5-3K RPM, that my tires were not actually spinning. I saw a video yesterday of a line...
  17. Line Lock - Wheelspin Feeling Afterwards

Yeah I see it is redundant but a neat feature. From what I am gathering on here though, if you don't dump the clutch, you can damage it pretty severely, which it seems I narrowly avoided. Seems like a lesser of two evils deal with wearing the clutch via slip or shocking the drive train. I am...
  18. Line Lock - Wheelspin Feeling Afterwards

I understand. Maybe I used the wrong word. I didn't expect it to fly off the line, but I expected it to start to move forward. By that I meant I never rev'd to a specific RPM and dumped the clutch from a stop.
  19. Line Lock - Wheelspin Feeling Afterwards

I understand what line lock and launch control are for. All I was saying that when the line lock counter hit zero, I expected the front brakes to unlock and the car to go. I don't think that is a farfetched expectation for someone who has never used line lock before. I have been riding...
  20. Line Lock - Wheelspin Feeling Afterwards

I have read people starting a burnout in 2nd gear. Never personally seen it so I'm not sure the outcome but I have read that. Yes, why wouldn't I expect that? I'm at 3K RPM with the tires spinning and the line lock counter hits zero I would have expected the car to move. Isn't that the same...
