  1. SOLD

    Some do, some don't.
  2. Finally drinking corn!

Wish they made a nice sized drag radial for the 19's. My plan is an FTI converter, corn and headers. Probably wont see a Procharger until 2018. This car is way more fun than the Camaro, hardly any maintenance.
  3. Finally drinking corn!

Sounds like a KID event. Every track day is a no prep event. :)
  4. For anyone who has changed out their stock exhaust...

I cut down after the 25 mile ride home from the dealership. I watched locally and on here and people couldn't give them away, so I made that choice.

I'll be down the 1/4 in mine next spring. I just picked it up on Sept 3rd and will be NA for the next year or so, than Forced induction of some sort. I'd like a mid 11 driver on E85 with hopes of 9.50's once the Forced induction happens.
  6. Texas Speed (TSP) Headers

I agree TSP is a great value and as I stated above, I would think about purchasing them if a performance connect was available. Honestly, I have yet to see any brand headers fail over time. Even the cheep headers from the 1980's worked well for their intended purposes. Even if TSP made 1% hp...

Any new Mustang owners in MN?
  8. Texas Speed (TSP) Headers

I am all about top end products, but If these can get a performance connect by spring, I may buy them over ARH.
  9. Texas Speed (TSP) Headers

I have to laugh at the fluid dynamics comment, while true it does come into play with flow characteristics, I have built and seen built many sets of headers( for class record holders), and not one chassis house that I know of thinks about fluid dynamics. They build the header to fit the custom...
  10. What compression pistons for E-85 NA build?

I wouldn't with e85's 104 octane. If it's an NA build there probably wont be a lot of cylinder bleed off like a power adder application which will bring the dynamic compression down. When I build engines for nitrous, I get as close to 16:1 as I can. After calculating the dynamic, I'm usually...
  11. Any haggling/negotiating when doing factory order?

I ordered my 2017, msrp was 42320, I negotiated down to 37300. It took a lot of time to research what cars were going for. I know one thing, there are better deals down south than in the north.
  12. 5.0 Dyno Chart Compilation

The BP fuel stations have 93 octane around our neck of the woods and as you know most Holiday's will have e85. I'll have the ARH headers and e85 Lund tune done by this spring. Having in auto, I won't just go to anyone around here. There are a few that lost their auto 's because the tuner wasn't...
  13. Big and little drag rims package for 1/4 mile

Does anyone have any other picture besides Racestars? I'd like to see some other options.
  14. Anybody use 3m crystalline/clear tint? Worth it?

Technically, those are not clear tints, They let 69% and 86% of the visible light through. They do offer 99.9% UV protection though.
  15. Texas Speed (TSP) Headers

Has anyone used the Holley 1 7/8ths headers yet? I'd be curious on the quality compared to other brands. They are around 899.99 for a stainless set of 1 7/8". Part number 70103305-RHKR
  16. Corsa Sport axleback?

The cat back is not loud at all with the x pipe until you get above 2k or so. Also very quiet at idle and cruise. No regrets on this system. Sounds great at 5k plus for sure.
  17. Do you guys regret any of your mods?

I'm in the Cottage Grove area. The only way the exhaust would be better is if I had the GT350 engine in the car.
  18. 3:15 to 3:55 worth it?

You can buy an FTI converter for around 800.00 new. Per FTI , triple discs aren't needed until you hit around 1000+ hp. They have been my converter of choice from the days of x275 racing and I'd gladly buy a converter from someone who will work with me to get the stall speed as I see fit.
  19. Poll: Parking your car for the winter.

I just picked up my 2017 last Sat. I put 200 miles on it and parked it on the lift already for the winter. It may come out on the days that are lacking moisture. Hopefully when it comes out next spring it has headers, torque converter, and an E85 tune. May need to source some 19 inch M/T drag...
