After trying another brand tuner I won't name(NOT BAMA) I have finally gone to the dark side with a Lund nGauge and flex fuel tune.

After some help from Chris@Lethal with some technical difficulties I got everything lined out before the last race of the season.

Initial impressions were awesome on 91, except for one small tweak to shift pressures that were a little harsh for the daily commute. Driveability was flawless, and with the 170° thermostat coolant temps were 190° at the head, and 180-185 on the nGauge ECT.

Then Saturday morning filled up with some E85 on the way to the track, but it appears that gas station has already switched to E70 for the winter as nGauge was only reading 65.9% alcohol.

Long story short the car is making beast improvement in power. So much so that I had an impossible time with tire spin at the track. Tried launching as soft as possible, even manually shifting 2nd gear at only 3,500 rpm. But no matter what I did I fought horrible tire spin through 3rd gear on the stock Pirellis.

Even with fighting wretched tire spin for the first 200 feet each run still got a best of .2 second, and 3 mph better than the stock tune has ever done.

12.81 @112 was the best I managed spinning horribly.

Put some DR's on the winter project list:headbang:

Thanks Chris! But the event overall was a bit of a bust. During the day was a normal bracket race. My car disappointed me a bit spinning so much. My buddies son's Super Pro dragster blew an oil seal before the semis. Then the evening race was a "no prep" shootout. One buddy won the small tire class, and another buddy lost in the final to Chuck from Street Outlaws because about 100' out he exploded the Planetaries in his trans.. Any day at the track is a good day, but this particular day plagued our whole crew except one.

Sounds like a KID event. Every track day is a no prep event. :)

Wish they made a nice sized drag radial for the 19's. My plan is an FTI converter, corn and headers. Probably wont see a Procharger until 2018. This car is way more fun than the Camaro, hardly any maintenance.

Similar plans for me. Some 18" radials next spring, cat delete here in the next couple weeks, and Procharger probably 2018 or so whenever I can save up the scratch.
