What's stupid about skipping the 68-70 models is that clearly S550 has strong similarities...same with the New Edge cars.

I'll put it this way...there are pics of charcoal/gray interiors with white stitching and charcoal door/door panel inserts, pics of darker interiors with dark stitching...can't even see it, and then something that falls in between the other two. Who knows what is what.

Yeah...metal gray stitching? This info is a freaking mess on Ford's end...it could look cool if it matches the aluminum trim throughout the car, but otherwise I'd say that white is a better look. More confused than ever after seeing that comment the other day; it seemed like we had it figured...

Thank you...their spoiler design may very well mesh perfectly with the lines/look of this car. The wraparound spears were always cool but too modern on S197s IMHO, but this car seems perfect for a new rendition of that. I really hope it meets that set of lines on the hood which I mentioned...

That spoiler may look very good...the hood has two sets of lines from a side profile, while the rear only swoops into the lower of the two hood lines. Black wheels look amazing on race red with black vents/spoiler/stripes....Might look good on silver too, but that's about it for me, personally. I'm not much of a fan overall.

No, that's actually what I meant by #3 to perfection...you're agreeing with me :D. I don't mean that the S197 was literal perfection, I meant that there are a ton of supporters out there who like to pretend that it is perfect due to the retro looks and overall Mustang characature that the car...

Yes...it's so stupid, and so horrible..but it works. Power Rangers is getting a reboot, maybe Ford can pay to have its 2015 lineup be the vehicles that connect to make the big Zord robot, with the S550 being the head/face :D

Exactly...Ford needs to go big and really try to make this thing "the new cool car" and develop a big presence. S197 was awesome, but never really got close to where the Camaro hit as far as public affection was concerned. But marketing like that could help the S550 get some quick status and appeal.
