I'm 28 and teach high school Psychology. Right now I have a Cavalier that's on its last legs, and an 05 Ranger Edge that I'm going to put a little work into shortly. I'm pretty conflicted on grabbing an S197 vs the S550 to replace the Cavalier...but it's definitely going to be one or the other...

I'll put it this way...S197 looks perfectly at home on that drag strip, however the S550 looks awkward and completely out of place. All of that completely reverses around the second that you drop those two cars on a road course though...such differing personalities and visual strengths.

Just to clarify...this thing isn't real. It's another rendering as part of a joke, this has been done by online sites and publications to death over the years.

A four door mustang has been a customary April Fool's joke for as long as I can remember...it'll never happen. Logically, it'd make so much sense to revamp and tweak the Falcon for global distribution as a competitor with the SS and Charger. That's basically what your four door Mustang should be.

Ford needs to bring back the Maverick and Falcon brands...and yes, it does look like a Fusion. Even the real deal S550 looks like a Fusion; they, along with the other vehicles in Ford's lineup, were all designed by the same guy/team with a family resemblance in mind. Everything from the grill...

S197 looked best in solids due to the retro theme...S550, IMHO, is the exact opposite and really looks good with a nice metallic paint job.

That's what I'm doing...265/35/20 is a very expensive tire size, but 275/35/20 is not; just go a little wider when you need to replace them...probably looks better yet. But I actually think the stock 18s look great...they're just too small. The same design in a 19 or 20 would kill on this...
