The image actuator will not fit your car. The image shows a 3 pin connector and yours will be 4 pin unless it’s a gt350. the bmw M3 actuators are the same as ours.

Yeh Stype with the H pipe is defo the way to go on these. Maybe a slight power loss but nothing you will feel. after broken in the Stype will have sort of chambered sound at low rpm’s. both the H pipe and the super 10 flow master will remove that trumpet and rasp.

Remember if you delete the active exhaust just pulling the fuse and leaving the engine light on isn’t good enough. the ecu will command that their is either a blockage or An exhaust flow problem and it will change the AF to compensate. they need to be deleted properly

You’ll get tired of it quickly particularly in traffic. It really screws up the driveability of the car at lower rpm driving. Don’t think it will mess anything up but your fuel consumption will drop dramatically and I don’t know if the unspent fuel will eventually kill the cats.

I honestly don’t hear anything out of the ordinary.

Not with an H pipe it won’t. the flowmaster mid mounted takes away any rasp as well and keeps it loud

I also thought the S type was a little loud. The best thing is to remove the x pipe and put an H pipe. I also later added a flow master super 10 right after the headers before the H pipe. Sounds great

Hi I don’t think I have the 2k rattle but is it normal to hear what I think are vct solenoids rattling a low rpms. Normally it’s when accelerating at low rpm from about 2-2.5k rpm. it’s not the 2k rattle because that sounds different. Just wondered if anyone has this ??
