The '14 has such an old chasis, you'll be sad in a few years IMO. Not worth it to get a '14. Some mfgs have shorter cycles but we've been seeing this chasis for what seems like forever. You'd probably be bummed not long after the '15s are out later this year!

Top Gear has liked the Ford focus & ford's economy cars for a long time, offering them as best value pick for the price. I like the UK top gear, I frequently disagree but its more a show that shows cars with some humor. Definitely have to FF through parts but the US version is unwatchable...
