  1. How long before we see some specs & prices?

Everyone does, you just need to be in Mustang club for 6 months (although some have been able to do it right away allegedly). There are certainly dealers who are doing X-plan on the S550. Tony--I'm assuming the US prices will be much lower, right? Those seem awfully high.
  2. Do you want Black Rims with your Performance Package?

Cool! Nice work. Options are much better, I hate black wheels but they aren't offering PP on an Auto for me anyway (still seems bizarre). BTW, would be shocked if the PP premium ecoboost is over 31K.
  3. 2015 Mustang First Ride Impressions Review

The auto transmisson on the 435I is an excellent ZF model. I'd be very surprised if the mustang Ecoboost was faster. Also, 4.7second 0-60 in the ecoboost seems optimistic but maybe possible. 4.3 is laughable and not happening. BTW, Car and Driver tested the 228I 0-60 at 4.9 seconds--That is...
  4. How long before we see some specs & prices?

IDK man it does seem like from some of your posts in this thread you were defending your purchase a bit and minimizing improvements like IRS. This post you expressed your view more clearly without minimizing the new car improvements. I think we all know about the killer deals on the old...
  5. "Mustang Ecoboost".... WHY?

Remember, using ecoboost in the mustang raises the 'sportiness' of the ecoboost across the entire Ford line, even if the Fusion/Focus/Fiesta get smaller versions. That may be a mini halo effect going forward. Mustang buyers who scoff have V6/V8 options too.
  6. Purchase Plan

your credit score is too good for someone not to offer something
  7. When is '15 pricing expected?

$31,210 is current starting for GT, so 35K is way too high. That's where premium starts now. 5% would be $32,676 is a more realistic point, maybe $33,000 at max. I wouldn't be surprised either if its less than 5%. I'd say 32,000-33000 is a safe range for a base GT.
  8. Limited Edition<->Not Limited Enough

I think the idea of a car mfg trying to make something that holds value for the consumer is silly. The original Mustangs were never ever thought to become collectible someday. Asking MFGs to try to design cars that will appreciate for the consumer is silly. Then hilarious you compare it to...
  9. Two-tone interior

Great post, Twin Turbo. I instantly thought the same thing the first time I saw the non-black interiors. I think the two-tone door panels on the 50th make the car look much more like a competitor with luxury cars another 10-20K higher when you consider heated/cooled seat options etc. I...
  10. Driving position and other Ford concerns

Maybe think about your own post? Just stop posting in this thread, thanks
  11. Driving position and other Ford concerns

The wheel on the Fusion doesn't telescope lower. No error. I checked the seat, it does go up and down but it doesn't go up any higher to make the wheel in the right spot. My point is the driving position sucks for me, it probably is fine for most others. Someone here could have news on the...
  12. Driving position and other Ford concerns

I don't really care what people say about my hands on wheel position and it will not change so forget that. Ergonomically it is much more comfortable because I rest my hands/arms braced by my knees. I use that when cruising on the highway or stopped at lights. During any spirited driving my...
  13. Driving position and other Ford concerns

The driving position on our 2013 Fusion is so bad that over time I've gone from "definitely getting a Mustang" when our 2yr lease is up to -- really concerned it might not be the right fit. I like to put my hands on the lower part of the wheel and even with the Fusion's wheel on the "low"...
  14. Who is ordering one before a test drive?

I can't imagine not driving it first, especially since the only Mustang I've sat in is from 1970.
  15. 2015 Mustang GT will get line lock standard

So set up for racing, but no warranty for racing? Can someone clarify what they mean?
  16. Why no performance pack for the automatic GT? (outside 50th ann. ed.)

If they don't offer some kind of PP for the auto they are just leaving money on the table for no reason except maybe some stupid old school manual transmission bravado? Barf, get enough of that on forums. I agree a lack of PP on the auto may seriously nudge me away from this car. Some stuff on...
  17. Official: 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition Announced and Revealed

Wish the door panels in two-tone were available on regular s550s
  18. How will the specs affect your decision?

Have they said what tires will be on the '15 stang?
  19. Are you considering other cars besides the 2015 Mustang?

I don't think you'll save much weight with the M235I. BMWs are piggies these days. Also, a driver's GT w/ PP, cloth recaros will be maybe 36K. That is with Recaros, LSD, and 420+HP so I can't see M235I being a better track car for the price. Have you owned a BMW before out of warranty...
