Let's just say for arguments sake you are correct and the SS weighs 3780. Now add on the upgraded brakes,mrc and whatever else Chevy offers against the mustang gt with everything Ford has to offer. Which do you think will be quicker around a track and dragstrip? Auto or manual. Talking same...

It does offer a front brake setup that bumps it to a 6 piston caliber but I'm not sure bout rotor size.

Don't forget that with the 5tj gen the auto was way down on power compared to the stick car. Even then some have hit high 12's. So compare a auto car HP to anew 6th gen auto HP and that difference is much larger. Now add in less weight and better gearing.

Why do you keep saying its on a cts chassis when everything else says it's on a ats chassis? And I believe it was said "almost" 300lbs for the 6 and atleast 200lbs for the SS. I'm still skeptical about those numbers but I have faith it did lose a good chunk.

Really? Based on this info it will be problem. A short straight the leads into a sweeper followed by a another short straight into a tight turn before a long straight will keep it high in the revs way longer than 8 secs. So basically it forces the driver to keep the revs down to avoid this...
