Not the "R" version. Also the z06 has to accommodate for the supercharger and beefed up parts to go along with it. Look at the weight difference between a base c7 and a z06.

It's not an excuse its a fact. The camaro was built on a existing sedan platform. Hence all the added weight. How does it have a better suspension than a gt350/r? At best it has a slightly better tire. Now price point it complety destroyed the z28. I hope Chevy learns from it but I doubt they will.

SS model is claimed to be 200lbs with the v6 rumored to be around 300lbs. The turbo4 should be close to the v6 weight. With those number it should put the camaro at low 3700 high 3600. I would think 3700-3750 would be rock bottom.
