Which isn't a surprise since it does have bigger brakes. The surprise here is how well the Camaro stops with such tiny brakes. Nobody will knock the stats of the stang we are all just happy to see GM step up since the stang has drug the 5th since the coyote came out. Wait till Ford drops weight...
You act like Chevy had no choice but to carry over the looks. They did it because of the huge success of the 5th gen. While it reassembles it its drastically different.
Look up some turbo only v6 cars. There whipping alot of fast cars. I wanna say that's kit is around 6-7k.
Most camaro guys aren't either. Everyone wants a dovetail spoiler.
Yellowbullet.
Why lock it? Clean up the "name calling"/and let it ride. You have a forum that can bash the camaro all day and its OK then when someone is wrong and others confront him after he demanded apologies you want to close up shop? This kinda of thread gets more hits than any other on...
I love all cars not just chevys. I got bashed on the camaro forums for not thinking Chevy would/could hit the weights and performance they predicted. So I'm far from a diehard douche. But if that makes you feel better then by all means carry on.
All ringers!!! No way they could run that quick, stop that short and weigh so little. God I hope someone that's "in the know" will chime in and explain how this happened.
1. If its less HP than the previous gt500 then its pretty much a sure thing it'll be alot lighter. That's a win unless your hung up on peak numbers.
2. How can you justify 400k for a GT w/ttv6 if you stuff that same engine into a 60k mustang? One would think a car like that would have a one...
That prediction was made with all things being PERFECT!!! A one off solo hero run not a normal thing. And by all means if a car runs 12.3 "supposedly" by the maker then it has a good chance since we all know what private drives have done with cars on private track rentals. All things eqaul what...
Well everyone screams that the lt4 is a huge fail yet it seems to be more of a packaging issue in the vette and not the caddy. Even though the GT is using a engine that's been out its still using different parts and at much higher boost levels. It's simple its a new car so it'll have a problem...
Now this is funny. I can't remember any body style fbody that even looked close to the mustang. And if your gonna say the 6th gen looks just like a 5th gen yet you say the 6th gen looks a s550 then doesn't that mean the s550 looks like a 5th gen?:frusty:
Oh and it also now has mag ride...
Sorry but that new focus is imo one of the best if not the best bang for the buck. Even over the mustang and camaro. Especially if you want a fun car and live up north. Plus I'd rather own a Ford then a Mitsubishi or Subaru.
I'm still having a hard time liking the front of the new stang. I love it from the windshield back even the the roof reminds me of a 350/370z. However once lowered with a set of wheels and a nice exhaust I tend to overlook the front.
