  1. FRPP Track package help.

My factory links have not bent in 1200 miles on the kit, but that's only street use - haven't taken it to the track yet, so don't really know. FR doesn't say anything about replacing, but that doesn't really mean anything, since they didn't address the front sway bar movement, and didn't do...
  2. On the fence about MGW

The stock GT shifter SUCKS. I knew it sucked immediately because I put the MGW on my 2007 and it made a huge improvement, and being that I had a great shifter to compare to, I hated the stock '15 shifter from the start. And man, did the MGW fix EVERY issue I had with the 2015 shifter from...
  3. FRPP Track package help.

Tough to get a good photo of them installed. My track pack suspension has been on since last year, so the following should be the best way to do the install. If you are doing it at the same time as the track pack install, you may be able to go in through the engine bay since you already have...
  4. FRPP Track package help.

I purchased the sway bar locks that dentalguy gave us a link to and finally got to installing them today. The link dentalguy provided are the CORRECT size locks. For anyone that is thinking about getting these, GET THEM! I haven't gotten my car onto the track yet, so just my road driving...

I bet it'll look pretty good. I have gloss black pinstripes right up against matte black stripes and those look real good. It's a nice accent, but very subtle.
  6. FRPP Track package help.

Dentalguy has the FRPP Track Handling Pack, and says "The size in the link is the correct size as well, even though it larger than the sway bar on paper." That better be right because I ordered them last night before I had a chance to get under the car and measure.

Not to worry, I have it on good authority that the container the wheels are in is completely watertight and can withstand 30,000 psi of pressure. Only issue is the container is now at the bottom of a 12 mile deep trench, so it may take a while to recover it.

  10. Review: Shaftmasters Direct Bolt-in Aluminum Driveshaft P/N FMS1517GTM35D

Nice writeup wildcatgoal. Been wanting to get a driveshaft but have been waiting for a direct bolt in that everyone is happy with. Seems the one piece driveshaft has been a little tough for these companies to get dialed in on the S550. I have a DSS one piece aluminum on my 2007, and it...
  11. FRPP Track package help.

This is a good find - I'm going to order them and get them installed. bigtim352, you're running a pretty high tire pressure. I've found that 34 on the front, and 30-32 on the rear, seems to work well for spirited on-road driving. Once you get onto a road course, even those pressures are...
  12. BMR Tech Tip: Check those axle-to-spindle retaining nuts!

So I had a chance to pull the driver side rear wheel this morning on my GT, since that seems to be the most problematic side. This particular car only has just under 1900 miles on it, and the spindle nut did not budge with my torque wrench set at 150 ftlbs. On my car, the stock nut has...
  13. BMR Tech Tip: Check those axle-to-spindle retaining nuts!

Kelly, what is the Ford part number? Thanks.

Plowed 8" of heavy wet concrete-like "snow" off my driveway this morning. Ship's captain texted me pics of a stop in some party port last night. Looks like they tied on a good one. Didn't look like they'd be in sailing shape for another couple of days. So be patient. :headbonk:

Black, of course. :D Yes, at some point I'll post pics. Just may be a while between the steamship making its way across the ocean, and our winter maybe not being over for a while. ;) My biggest concern with these wheels is how well you can see the brakes, and the stock PP brakes aren't...

I don't care when they come in. Looks like our nice spring we've had since January is about to end. 10 day forecast is showing daily snow and/or rain, so we're probably going to get our entire winter's worth of precipitation, that we never got this winter, in April & May. Problem is...
  17. BMR's New SUPER LOW PROFILE Chassis Jacking Rails: CJR002 - Coming Soon!

Crap, another thread I need to pay close attention to so I can get in on the pre-order. You know, some of us have jobs and can't be on the forums all damn day. :D
  18. BMR's New SUPER LOW PROFILE Chassis Jacking Rails: CJR002 - Coming Soon!

I have a very nice J&M 3rd link on my 2007. But that earlier post was completely un-called for, and I now have a slightly jaded opinion of J&M as a result, AND I WILL be ordering the BMR SLP rails when the time comes.

Yeah, what's the deal here?!? A brand new design and very first production run not getting rushed over here on its very own ship? This type of delay has NEVER happened before on a brand new product launch. This is an outrage! That's it, I'm just about ready to almost start threatening...
  20. BMR's New SUPER LOW PROFILE Chassis Jacking Rails: CJR002 - Coming Soon!

Ooh, I like these! Glad I waited (I have a sweet set of BMR subframe braces/jacking rails on my 2007, but the ONLY thing I don't like about them is they hang down a little too low).
