  1. How does your dealer react to using Ceratec?

I had it on my 2017. It started at around 13,000 miles. And yes Cera-Tec stopped it and when I went with a blower and upped the oil weight to 5/30 it went away and hasn't come back at 25,000 miles.
  2. How does your dealer react to using Ceratec?

Maybe you can't see it on the dipstick but when the oil is drained into the waste pan the oil is milky brown. You can tell right away.
  3. How does your dealer react to using Ceratec?

I used Cera tec for the tic for years and it worked. When I went FI I upped the oil weight to 5 30 and not 50 like Whipple says cause its a lot colder up here. The tic went away and I no longer use Cera-Tec.
  4. Steeda Tunes (Mach 1) Now Available!!

When I got a tune, throttle response was changed by having just what it says less pedal needed for same amount of go. And more instantaneous pedal reaction. With an auto, a tune changes shift points and pressures for higher rpm shifting and crisper shifts. Well worth it if you drive an auto...
  5. How does your dealer react to using Ceratec?

At an oil change the dealer tech saw the cloudy oil right away and thought it was coolant. But I told them it was Cera tec and told them why. No more was said about it. I've got a feeling they didn't want to get into the B'BQ tic and 2 K rattle discussion.
  6. Hood Struts

I've had the Steeda for about 3 years. I'm in Canada and have found that in colder weather they won't hold my hood up anymore. But in warmer weather they work fine. Also as a waiver I have a big fake MMD hood scoop so of course that's probably the cause. But they worked before perfectly for years.
  7. Best Spacers

I've had these for 3 yrs with no problems.
  8. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Got my passenger door and fender painted after some A-Hole keyed it in the grocery store parking lot. Also tried to damage my winter tires with dull knife but never succeeded. I parked it in the same place as bait but the perp didn't bite.
  9. Beware of Lund

Well I hope I get to comment because it's all true. Well he did try but some of the revisions seemed like they were for a different car than mine.
  10. Beware of Lund

I might not know about tuning but I've had my logs checked by those that do. When I mentioned this to 'Lund Calibrator' he told me to get them to tune it then.
  11. Beware of Lund

I just had a couple probably final emails from the 'Lund Calibrator'. He declined tell his name the couple of times I've asked. He said saw my comments on this thread so whoever he is, is monitoring it. He's again telling now 99%.9 of their customers are happy and don't use Paddles. Yesterday...
  12. Beware of Lund

Yes hopefully. I spent a lot of money chasing ghosts and after those emails today I'm done. I wish I would have done more research into their tuning.
  13. Beware of Lund

I had an excellent N/A VMP Tune a while back and a FI tune update is $99.99. And after spending so much money jumping thru Lunds hoops a hundred bucks is nothing. So for that price I don't have much to lose by giving them a try.
  14. Beware of Lund

This was pertaining to a feeling of it pulling timing or like a dead spot in the pedal. And about the Bucking after 2-3 3-4 shifting in Sport mode.
  15. Beware of Lund

The thing bucks so hard it almost pulled the Steering wheel out a guys hands that I got to test my car. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. I mean how hard is it but I wanted to be sure.
  16. Beware of Lund

2017 Whipple Gen 3 6R80 ID1050X Pretty straightforward right? Lund Tune. Just got my final revision and getting a huge bucking after 3/4 throttle shifts in Sport mode.2-3, 3-4. Plus feels like it's got a dead pedal type feel at varying RPMs in Sport Mode. Drive Mode feels fine and will pull...
  17. rattle

Have you checked all the heatshields?
  18. How do you guys “winterize” your Pony?

To prepare my car for a Canadian winter I put a couple of hundred lbs bags of Sand in the trunk. Change over to my dedicated Snow tires and try to stay out of boost.
  19. Anyone? Kinetik Motorsport Crank Saver Stud Versus ARP Crank Balancer Bolt?

I went with the Kinetic. Fills the void left from the bore being oversize compared to OEM bolt. Don't know if the ARP does that. Whipple 700 WHP. Not much else I can tell you.
