I have a 2017 and I have to wiggle my RTD to get it to go green and recognize my car. This is after 4 years of plugging in all sorts of various tuners etc tho. Funny thing is my SCT has no problem syncing.

And just an FYI they will an do fit a 2017 with no trouble.

If you've found the need for Cera-Tec I'd be doing a Boroscope of the Cylinder walls. When the Coyote tic was very popular Cylinder wall scarring was causing Ford to replace Short blocks. Just my OP but this isn't something you want to be fooling around with.

2018-2023? Will these not fit on a 2015-2017?

When my car was ticking and I took it in to Ford the tech said it was just the Thrust Bearing tolerance was so wide causing the tic. Nothing to see here of course.

Up to you of course. Just doesn't sound like mine did and it does seem a lot louder than mine. My tic wasn't a steady rhythm more irregular like skipoing beats. But also different Gens so maybe that's why.

I went with the Shelby CS-5 23.5 lbs 19x9 Front 24.5 lbs 19x11 Rear I put on a bunch of suspension parts at the same time and difference was amazing.

I noticed the same thing when I installed these but it was after I put in the new steering wheel as well. They won't make a connection up near the point.

I don't think that tic is the B'BQ Coyote tic. I had the tic for around two years before I got rid of it with Cera-Tec. Coyote tic doesn't have any set rhythm to it. It's more of a random hit and miss beat. And my tic was hot or cold at idle. Your tic sounds like it's is consistent with...

I have one, owned it about 14 months no wear. Red strip is off about a 1/6th of an inch but I don't notice unless really concentrating on it Thickness felt weird at first but like it now. Compared to the more expensive ones I think these are worth the cost and a better deal. No regrets at all.

I had both the tick and 2K rattle in my 2017 for a couple years. Used Cera-Tec which got rid of both. Aftet Whipple install bumped oil to 30WT. Neither tic nor rattle has come back. And with no Cera-Tec

I was thinking of removing the TB gasket and using silicone but that fix is for a different issue with a code. I have no codes. But might try just to see if it helps.

Any of you get answers to this issue? I know the 2018+ idle problem was solved but I notice a few of us Whippled 2015-2017 have these idle fluctuations. I've done absolutely everything to find the glitch but to no success. So wondering if any of you have updates?

Oops got those offsets backwards. 50mm rear 35mm front

No bother. Have BMR 'Performance' Lowering springs. 1" drop front .5" drop rear With Steeda Camber bolts. Wheels are offset for Coyote so no rubbing. 50 mm front 35 rear
