Hi all,
I was reading a thread from last year which was similar, but i don't think it was exactly what mine is doing. I have a new 2019 build GT RHD spec with the 10R80. In normal driving conditions in D, while upshifting OR downshifting during normal acceleration/deceleration, when it goes...
This colour changes a lot in different light. Took delivery a couple of weeks ago to replace the 2018 GT i sold a few backs due to too much BBQ. 2019 build MY19, 10R80, Magneride. Australian spec so it comes with digital cluster, adaptive cruise, B&O, active exahust and all that crap. Has a bit...
18-19 in gorgeous, i loved mine. Holding out for a 2020 though, any news on release dates in the states? I'm in Oz so have to wait more than that obviously. All i really want is 1) electric hand brake (Australian customers will relate), maybe front sensors and a clandestine engine-rattle fix lol
Hi all,
In Australia,we have things line line lock disabled as we are obviously not responsible enough to use it, but it can be enabled easy enough. We also don't get remote start. Does anyone know if, with the purchase of the U.S. style remote start fob, the feature can be enabled?
Cheers.
In Australia, the 2018+ base spec GT comes with the digital cluster. I found in the settings I can also show MPH as a small display under the standard KMh, which I found a bit of fun. However when I do that, the cruise control sets to the MPH instead of the KMh, as in, it will round the km up or...
Just in relation to the OP, my driveway is very steep. I start the car on the upper (level) part of the driveway, it ticks (xylophone type noise, intermittent), then i back down the driveway, stop to shut the gate (steep angle) and it still ticks, there is no difference.
That's pretty bizarre - maybe they're angry at countries using Metric lol - Australia gets somewhat screwed as well as far as options/deletions of U.S. spec.
Yeh I actually initially re-fitted it as above, just using the retaining clips and the oil filler lid to hold it in which would be fine in most situations, but I like the OEM feel where possible. I ended up getting some flanged "M6" 6mm hex nuts, which fit perfectly. None of my socket spanners...
Hi all,
I took the engine cover off my 2018 GT a while back, and have misplaced the nuts. Is anyone aware of the exact specs of the nuts, so i can re-purchase? The thread on the two bolts looks around 6 or 7mm but i don't know for sure. I'm guessing Ford spares would charge a hiked-up price for...
Yeah look, it's easy in theory, but it wouldn't hurt to have 3 hands. It's awkward more than anything. The clips can be an absolute mofo when they want to be, so it's luck of the draw. In my case the lower right screws didn't match up properly even on the factory decklid, so it was a screamer...
Hi all,
Nearly time to do my first oil change - it's got nearly 3000KM on it and has probably burnt a bit. No huge concerns about the BBQ tick coming on as it already had it as a NCO from the factory. I'm thinking of a thicker synthetic oil with the same Winter, so a 5w30 or thereabouts and see...
