Those are the air shutters. I removed them from my car and never reinstalled them. I did ask when I had the car tuned to make sure to tune them out, but I'm not 100% sure it's required. There will be a sensor that it attached to them, I just zip tied it up out of the way.
I'm fairly certain St. Thomas doesn't have air if that's where your heading. Do you have a spare tire or the emergency kit in the trunk? The emergency kit has an air pump you can plug in the lighter port in the center console. It's what I use to refill my tires at the track.
I have a 4k ish Circle D converter in my car with the stock transmission thermostat / trans cooler and my temps haven't been an issue with day to day driving. It does change slow stop and go driving so I could see it not being for everyone.
I ran the Snow Performance 2.5 kit. Used a 12 nozzle. Just used it to keep IATS in check. Worked well. I relocated the IAT sensor to behind the throttle body by using a VMP IAT breakout harness that connects into the MAF sensor harness. Tuned by PBD. There are few guys on the Facebook pages...
Has anyone ever replaced the cv joint on a DSS driveshaft? The one i have is worn-out. I believe the one DSS uses is a 930 joint, but was hoping someone could confirm. Would be for a 18+ 10r80. Thanks
I switched from a 26" ET Street R to the 28" DBR and it has worked a lot better for me overall on a no prep surface. I would seriously consider a bias ply slick though if you're going to be running a lot of no prep events, and your class allows it. I still spin the DBRs and have to modulate the...
Upgraded my G3 cooler to a G4 for the season coming up. Be a few weeks yet before I can get any runs with it but not doubting it will make a difference. Size difference is definitely noticeable over the G3. Also added a BMR bumper support. I don't think its needed to fit the cooler, just looking...
I built one using a DW X2 hat. Ordered 15ft of -10AN for the main feed and 20ft of -8AN for the rest of the system. Single regulator setup. If I did it over I'd probably stick with -8an for the feed. The -10an was on sale at the time and was cheaper than -8 for the same length, its the only...
I don't think its required, it just happened to be that while i was swapping intakes and removing the valves for the IMRCs, I disconnected that connector thinking it was part of the IMRC harness.
