Thanks bro. Any issues getting a good seal on the pan afterwards? I’m low miles so I suspect my pan o-ring is fine. What about sealant?

That’s a good idea actually. I also have the service manual. Only part that aggravates me is the oil pan removal. Either lift the motor or drop the K? Dang.
Agree. Saw a couple folks say they managed to get theirs out without removing the pan completely but not sure I’m comfortable half assing...

Amsoil is known to be generally superior. Having said that, I'm still running motorcraft bc I change the oil between 1k and 2k miles. I have been considering going all amsoil though and would most likely use their filter too...

I've had mine in the R for a few months now. I have to say, I do love it. I could tell an instant difference the way the car felt on wind up and much less NVH overall. Very smooth. The quality and construction of the unit is second to none.
They are noticeably heavier, skinnier, longer and have an aluminum sleeve over top vs the shorter exposed rubber ones that are OEM. Quite diff from OEM. I assume there is some reasoninbtg behind them but maybe not. Mine were reversed and I had an odd vibration at 2500ish rpm. I fixed that issue...
