  1. New wheels on the “R”

    Looks great!
  2. Looking at purchasing 350, should I exclude the '16s?

I rode with a couple of 2016 tech packs over the weekend. We ran them hard up the mountain and one of them did experience overheat/limp mode as result of not having the coolers. its all in what you do and how you drive. Others kept the same pace as him but didn't experience the issue. YMMV but...
  3. About to but new GT 350- should I do it?

Yes you should. Unless you're going to ignore Ford's guidance and complain to them about the normal oil consumption of a race engine... Don't let the naysayers bother you.
  4. Running the 325/30/19 Porsche spec Cup 2's on rear R rims

That protectective edge prob doesn’t do a very good job honestly. If you curb you curb...
  5. Running the 325/30/19 Porsche spec Cup 2's on rear R rims

Can you make the dealer replace your rim? Send them back?
  6. How to jack the rear to place stands underneath the car?

1 jack, 4 jack stands. I do use the steeda jacking rails but they are not necessary. Nothing wrong with this approach; I've done many times on this car now since owning. This is also a method that many mechanics will use when they've run out of life space in their garage and/or when they know...
  7. anyone find total base gt350R numbers

Yea I’ll be changing oil like this as welll.
  8. What did you do to your GT350 today?

XPEL ppf around the nose and lower of the car. Tinted the windows. Needs to finish drying then I’ll clean it back up. Very happy with the ppf.
  9. You know the big oval shaped spoiler, does that come only with gt350r?

Oh I understood your original point. The answer seems simple to me. Top speed means nothing other than well, top speed. Especially on a road or road course. I’d choose the extreme everyday. Why? Bc up to 150mph, it’s superior. Turn the road upside down and it’ll stick (lol not really)...
  10. Interior lighting problem

Factory issue or had you worked that area previous for something else?
  11. You know the big oval shaped spoiler, does that come only with gt350r?

350R wing is purpose built. If the smaller lip spoiler did the job better, it’d be on the R I think. You’re 100% right about the tailgates. It doesn’t let the air pocket form over the bed when the tailgate is down.
  12. anyone find total base gt350R numbers

Im also interested in this. I was told by a local fp guy that stops at my dealer that they made roughly 400 2018 MY R's. No way for me to validate.
  13. Replaced Voodoo Engine

Yes those are the areas that make this a superior road car. HP in certain scenarios is debilitating. This car lives true to the GT350 name. You would have been faster than a GT500 as well.
  14. You know the big oval shaped spoiler, does that come only with gt350r?

I was reading this somewhere else. Very interesting the little tweaks they do.
  15. You know the big oval shaped spoiler, does that come only with gt350r?

The rear spoiler works in conjunction with the front chin so you’d need them both to affect a change. One or the other may do harm at speed idk.
  16. GT350R Set of New Pilot Sport Cup 2s 305/30, 315/30

Edit I see where you’re located. Too far to drive.
  17. ARH vs Kooks headers

I've reached out to Kooks for a quote on headers and installation since they're local to me.
  18. You know the big oval shaped spoiler, does that come only with gt350r?

Only the R comes from the factory with a CF wing. non-R 350s have a traditional lip spoiler. A lot of non-R owners add a replica wing though. R's in the wild are pretty rare.
