Go Krona!
I went from MBRP Street to Krona and couldn't be happier. It doesn't drone while cruising or get raspy in the upper RPMs. It's got a very unique deep tone to it too. Lots of burble and rumble when lazy shifting around town, but crossing 3500 it takes on an almost European sound...
What about a heat extractor hood? Something with a lower hood line like the GT350 would be nice, but with a decent size louvered section like the C7 vette hoods
Seems like a case of droopy eye, but speaking seriously, I agree with the above two posts. Definitely looks like an optical illusion due to exhaust misalignment.
Mine took just a little more pressure than what I would consider a light push. Some fluid wept from the end when I first tried, but I gave it a little extra and felt a very satisfying snap as it engaged over the barb.
I enjoy the fuel savings of having an OD gear. Theres no reason you should have to drive abnormally (not using 6th gear, avoiding certain rpms, etc.). These cars arent five speed foxbodies with loud flowmasters. You can have a deep, aggressive exhaust note without having to deal with drone.
Across every generation of Mustang, the competition series (aka magnapack muffler) drones like crazy. They're notorious for it. On the other hand, I've heard the streets are too mild. If you want a moderately aggressive exhaust without drone, best bet is contact customer service about a possible...
Last i heard CPR hasnt finalized the k member required for his kit. If JPC isnt ready, then there are no readily available single kits. Well EDP is technically ready, but they have terrible feedback.
The upcoming JPC, CPR, or Boost Works single kits are the only viable options other than a...
Has anyone tried 265/40 Firehawk Indy 500s on the PP fronts? I know 265 tires are the max for 9" wheels, but I'm looking for any available user feedback on fitment. As long as it doesn't bulge too much, I think it could be a good option - closer height to the rears and supposedly 2 lbs. lighter...
