I have the ATAK system and will say that the in car sound level really isn't loud imo. Roll the windows down, and you hear the sound bouncing off of everythig and there's no denying how loud it is. I guess thats a testament to the mufflers being drone free and the improved sound deadening. The...
Yeah everyone saying well what about whipple, kb, etc. are forgetting that those are on the intake (vacuum) side. On a centri setup, that oval coupler will be under boost. Not saying it cant be done, but that argument is invalid
The future GT500 being CPC doesn't mean the voodoo cant handle boost. Yoy cant draw a conclusion based on another vehicle. Having the same crank as the coyote would reduce time and cost in the production process. Its easier to make money when parts are shared. The voodoo has unique crank, cams...
FPC is prone to harsher vibrations than CPC. If by harmonics you meam vibrations, then i doubt thats an issue with coyotes. If anything its most likely due to improper ATI damper installs where the bottom of the damper bore isnt flush against the crank. Or the crank bolt can be torqued improperly.
The reports are nonexistent. However, builds are usually showcased for a headline and then tucked away as stated. Anyone know what happened to the Lethal Whipple GT350? Another thread there was back and forth about why they were selling and not running/testing it. One guy claimed to have...
Swapping hoods is not an option for most. Hopefully cortex will follow through with their intake concept and itll carry power like the CJ. Who knows what the potential of the stock manifold is though. Aside from FI, builds are limited to E85 and headers. Aside from Frankenstein, has there been...
Anyone know the stock voodoo cam specs? Just read the L&M intake cam thread in the FI sub forum, and they picked up 90 hp on a procharged coyote. Considering how capable built coyotes are, there has to be more in the voodoo with the bigger displacement and better heads. Someone donate a car for...
Its correct that you dont want to run lean, but a header install will not directly cause a lean condition. The upstream (pre-cat) O2 sensors are the wideband sensors which measure lambda (a facotr of stoich combustion). Then actual AFR is calculated based on the specific stoich value for a given...
Inlet temps were higher with that filter placement. Paxton/Vortech had a clear advantage on the 11-14s. The switch to front feed was necessary. Not routing the filter to the front when it can be done would just be poor engineering.
Comparison dyno should be easy too. Install the harness and box. Run it down to empty on 93, dyno, dump in a jerry can of e85, and then do a couple of runs on flex. Everything can be done the same day for better qa.
I think this would just provide some convenience. Flex tunes detect ethanol percent post combustion based on O2s, so when switching between fuels you want to run down as close to E as possible and then drive conservatively while it readjusts. Then, someone could mistakenly dog it immediately...
Do you have any personal experience with their products? It definitely seems like an interesting kit. I'd like the ability to run any E% on the fly without needing tuning
