See I wouldn't think the axles would make that big of a difference but the car is dynoing less than a bone stock car does. Car has long tubes no cats intake and exhaust and tune. Car was also dynoed with my street wheels and tires which are 315-35-20 and weigh about 60lbs a piece I would say...
I'm just curious because my car seems to have lost a lot of power and the only thing I've changed was adding the dss 800hp axles. They seem to be a lot heavier. I'm considering a set of 373s and aluminum driveshaft
We data logged in Thursday night and everything is reading correctly. The maf was reading under 300 with my airaid setup when I put the stock intake back on it was reading 350. I don't really understand the numbers but the ford tech told me as long as it was over 300 it was fine. I don't really...
Yeah I would believe that except mine was getting retuned on the dyno by aed and he couldn't get the power to come up. He tunes the fastest coyotes in NorCal so he is pissed that the power wasn't coming up and can't figure out why. I never reloaded the stock tune if I switched from performance...
but my issue is i ran the same tires i ran the 116 with again and it only trapped 112 thats best i could pull. car doesnt feel right feels very sluggish and put down less hp than my friends bone stock 15 on the same exact dyno the same exact day. we ran eachother on our street tires and i was...
the accident wasnt to bad. the front of the car had very little damage the most of the damgae was to the rear f the car and driver side quarter panel. i just dont see what could have changed the horsepower so drasticly.
The car was run about two months apart. The weather was almost exactly the same. I've been racing cars for a long time and understand that slicks can cause a mph drop but I've never had a car that lost 4-5 mph from slicks. The car is a m6 car. When I was running 116 it ran a 12.6 with 2.2 60 ft...
It is definitely not air or density related. Car is missing a ton of power and it all happened after the accident that's why it's so weird. The car should be putting down 430-440 with my mods. And I have delt with shaun and drew for years I would never take my car anywhere else. Shaun literally...
Yeah no exhaust leaks and no codes or check engine light at all. Only thing that was replaced besides body panels was the charcoal canister that mounts under the spare tire area. Don't really know if that could cause anything but I wouldn't think it would.
So I have a base model gt it has an airaid cai stainless works catless headers and mbrp exhaust with a bama tune. car was trapping 116 before then my buddy crashed my car when I let him joy ride it. So after I got the body work fixed I threw on some slicks and took it to the track and it went...
Thanks man!!! Yeah with the price I got from beefcake racing on the wheels I couldn't pass it up. I have airaid intake stainless works long tubes no cats mbrp street catback dss 800hp half shafts and some suspension goodies. Gonna see what it will do with the bama 91 race tune before I get my...
No drone whatsoever on my setup. And no I don't have any videos of the car in action. I'm hoping to run it at the track again in the 9th of September so I can try and get a video then.
Actually I was thinking about trying to get the cats for mine to try and quiet it down. The good thing about the street setup is that I have no drone whatsoever. And from what I've been hearing the race setup gives drone especially after doing headers.
