Just incase anyone wants to know Mmr seems to have the cheapest price for the intake and they have an adapter to use the stock throttle body. Just came across this

Please let me know what happens!! My car never threw codes but spuddered all the time and when I went to get a tune it only put down 386 with long tubes intake and exhaust. Tuned the car only made 406 just like yours. I returned the car back to stock because I couldn't find the issue
That's what I'm hoping! Car lost a lot of power after I let a friend drive it and it he put it through a fence. The dealership thinks the maf must have taken some damage in the accident and was reading off of what it's supposed to.
Well I'm gonna try and take it back up to my tuner to see what he says hopefully it's been reading wrong this whole time and that's where my hp went. Thanks for the replies!!
I took all that info out I think the tech had it backwards. But I still don't really understand any of it. Don't really understand if tuners make the maf read differently for tuning purposes. My car does feel better but it was just changed this afternoon so I know it's still learning.
So with all the issues with my car I needed up finding a mod friendly dealership and having them look at my car for me. They ended up changing my maf out saying that it was reading 145kpa now it's reading at 152. what does this all mean?? lol the car feels noticeably more powerful. I just don't...
Here is a small clip of mine. Car is extremely loud on cold starts. Can be pretty mild if kept under 2500 but once you put your foot in it a bit it's very loud!!
I've only been able to reflash the aed tune. He gets rid of the bama stuff. But I witnessed the cars low hp so I know he's not screwing with me. We did 4 crankshaft resets and multiple kam resets and nothing is better. I think something in the motor is hurt that's not coming out on the...
My car is manual it did a best off 12.4@117 on the stock 235/50-18s with stock half shafts. That time was in May so the weather was a lot better but in 90-95 degree weather my car was running constant 12.6@116 on stock tires. i don't know man. Like I said I think I'm gonna return the car back...
Hmmmmm that's weird. My car went 12.0 @ between 112-114 and my car only made 386rwhp that weekend. I was on full race star setup front and rear though. I will keep trying to figure this thing out to much invested to lose
Well in my mind when each axle was about 20 pounds heavier than the stock ones I would think the heavy rotational mass would cause a power loss that's why I started this thread to ask. And I do all the installs myself and verified that there is no rubbing anywhere on the car.
Yeah still have yet to find the issue. We did compression check and all cylinders were fine. And I fell no clutch slippage but that hasn't been verified so it's a possibility I guess. The intake was extremely easy to remove. I looked up a write up on lmr for the 11-14 cars and it worked great...
