If you want to do stupid shit like running a stock fuel system on a FI e85 setup, nut up and shut up. tune and build your own car. Otherwise do it right and quit bitching and moaning. It's not rocket science bigger injectors and a return style fuel system...
Subarus are really nothing to worry about. A full built subaru will last a couple weeks before blowing up its nice iag closed deck block and rotated turbo setup that makes 700whp.
Subarus are great rally and time attack cars but they are not straight line performers by any serious means.

Yeah, I could not drive my car in Chicago traffic on a summer day with the base GT radiator. This was also a base model gt not the PP1/PP2 that come with the big boy radiators. The base GT has a tiny 1 pass radiator that was smaller than the oversized heat exchanger that came from whipple.
Keep the license plate in your glovebox. When you get pulled over take it out and say the car was recently repaired and you haven't had time to replace the proper mount due to a parts shortage.
The 1-2 shift issue is definitely a user error.
Never heard of a reverse issue like that, either a factory freak or user error.
The clunky engagement is part of the transmission.
Short commutes and around town driving are the absolute worst thing you can do for an engine/trans.
