Yea for sure and I did see he said roll. I was just saying that there are many different races that can be had. Even at a roll it depends on the race. A lot of people here tend to add 100mph to starting speed as the target to hit before the race is over. Especially around TX2K street racing...

So that stuff uses the same re-usable fittings looks like. Cool, I may as well swap it out now. How flexible is it, am I gonna be able to shove it up into the cabin by the side of the tank? Really don't feel like dropping the tank right now.
Don't discount some of the exotics. It depends on the race parameters, starting speed for a roll race, a dig, circuit, etc... They'll surprise you due to weight, grip, computer assists, and aerodynamics. Especially from a dig the awd monsters out there are unstoppable when they're sub 3s for a...
This was a big part of why I followed the sellers suggestion of using Startlite hose. I was looking at that braided stuff and thinking screw that noise. I'd rather replace it every 3 years in 45 min on a lift. Until the smellz...
This Earls nylon stuff is similarly flexible? Is it normally...
Definitely believe it. To me it always seems to vary by manufacturer, might be dependent on the dealer too, maybe some have their ways of getting around things. I think if it's not obvious your mods caused it you have a better chance vs. showing up with a supercharger and melted pistons. Bad...
It's not the dealers that refuse to honor your warranty. It's the manufacturer who reimburses the dealers.
Dealers get paid to do warranty work. It's not lucrative like non-warranty service work, because it's typically at a fixed rate for the job. i.e. Transmission swap should take 6.5 hours...
Hey guys, just finished another video I thought would be good for DIY here. I realize there are other threads on the Fore Innovations installation, but I thought a video would be helpful.

I got my kit from Hypermotive and it contained the following parts:
Fore Innovations 42-800...
Mileage will be directly proportional to the change in stoichiometric mixture, which is a better way to figure out how your current mileage will change. By definition gasoline is said to have a 14.64:1 air to fuel ratio. Ethanol on the other hand is said to have a 9:1 air to fuel ratio. To give...
It's one of those things that looks easy, but takes some practice to do. It's like tinting, vinyl, etc... not really expensive to start out in, looks easy, but takes practice, attention to detail, patience and a steady hand to do a truly good job. So in tinting you might start with flat windows...
Will check it out, thanks man! I'm gonna wind up re-doing the hose when I do a bunch of rear end work, the question is when. Lots of different parts of the build going on at the same time. So I need to figure out how bad this smell is gonna be and if I need to reprioritize.
So it was pitched...
So I'm kinda regretting going with the Startlite hose now for my Fore fuel system build. It was super easy to install and I get why people like it for that reason. It's very flexible and the fittings are awesome. However, I didn't think it was going to smell this bad right away.
I though I...
Yea you don't have to necessarily crimp the ferule. The point is for the set screw to dig in so it should work fine. I did end up using a larger crimper with to make a nice square crimped surface. It wasn't very expensive, around $25 on amazon.
Hah, yea it felt right and everyone probably does it the same way we did it. I'm probably the weird paranoid guy that actually called them to ask. I get fixated on stuff a little.
I'm sorry, I thought you would be able to connect related concepts. Let me explain it in more detail. If your logic is that you can't open a claim with someone else's insurer, how would a pedestrian who may have no insurance file a claim if hit by a car?
This is what I've done every single...
