I don't use anything on the jacking tray, really nothing is convenient at all. The bottle jack can sorta work, but not very well. I have removed the jacking tray completely and bought two of these...
i’d be really surprised if the factory box was smaller than that. It seem to me it’s around that or even slightly larger.
Edit:
At least on my vert the box is bigger than the shaker. Shaker has an indent on th back for an amp, my 2020 doesn’t have this. B&O is obviously bigger inside you can...
Long story short, he cut the middle speaker out. I did too as have many others but I don’t think it really made much difference.
There’s this thread too on the Sub, just that on its own (plus my 500w sub amp) have brought me joy:)...
Guys. It is plenty big enough for a good 10 that is meant for a sealed enclosure. I’m telling you it f’ing rocks wit my 500w amp and the SQ is absolutely fine.
Sweet. And your first mod should be……The SmartTop module. There is a thread on it in the convertible section. Among other things allows one touch top open after you unlatch it.
I drive with the top down as often as possible. I only drive it a couple times a week though but at least one of those is with the top down. Pretty much any time it’s not raining and temp is above 12:) I live in Sydney.
Yes, verts are more money. SOOOOOO worth it though:) Also skip magneride, not worth it on a vert in my opinion as I skipped it.
Also keep in mind while it's true its getting up there with Mach 1 pricing, you don't get lane guidance, adaptive cruise etc with those. I paid 77K new for mine in...
The very first post answers your question about which one fits with minimal effort. This thread has always been about B&O not shaker.
As to whether you need an amp or not that’s up to you. I would (and did) add an external amp.
B&O is good, plus you get a sub box that you can put a different 10 in if you want. The factory sub itself is garbage but the cool thing is you've got a box that fits in the factory location. No one makes one for a vert so to add a sub to the stock system in a vert you have to put a generic box...
Mmm, Not required in the cabin in my opinion. My 10" in my factory enclosure kicks a$$ top up or down. The verts are good because it's not blocked off as much as a coupe is. With my RF 500x1 amp I can't turn it up too loud otherwise it shakes the car apart:)
I need to do something about the...
Learn how to use Carplay, it is your friend:) Also you can turn off launch carplay in the sync settings so it doesn't automatically launch when you connect the phone.
Wow, PPI Art amp? Haven't seen or heard anyone mention those in a really long time. Old school perfection:)
I've got a Rockford Fosgate 500X1 and it's pretty bad a$$ for it's size.
