The Bridgestone rep told me the same thing at the Texas champ tour.
I've been putting off buying tires to wait for those, just to run CAM at Nat's.
Next year After Nat's I'll decide if I really want to go ESP, or S/C the car and just continue to have fun with it in CAM and OUSC events...
I've been running STU the last few events, and have been a mix of on the same second to a couple seconds off, but with crap tires.
I think with coilovers and appropriately sized stones(285-305), I think I'd be right there with the local guys, but regionally vs. Borg, probably not so much...
19x9.5 SVE's on mine vs. the 18x8's:
I know the tires are cheaper, but I think it looks goofy on low pro 18's. (and you're losing gearing) I ran the Texas National tour just for fun in CAM-C, and ran the 19's the first day, and the 18's the second day. The only place I hit the limiter was the...
Rear Spring perch ?
FWIW, My measurements in the Rear from any rim contact, with 19x9.5's and 35 offset was 3 inches of space. And that's on sportlines. I'd guess a 325/30 on the MRR wheels with the 55 offset would fit with zero issues. There's a lot of room back there.
It was a bit tight...
Oooou. Those look light....
if I figured out the 19x11 equation, I think it would to be with the goal of at least 325's. Some salty tears and fender rolling would be ocurring.
That will probably be my plan if I can't find an appropriately offset 19x11 for the front. By my measurements, It should fit fine. I'm on sportlines as well.
The 305's will be slightly pinched on a 10inch, but it didn't look too bad on a 370z I saw a couple of weekends ago at one of our...
I have the 18 stockers mounted with 255/35 18 Dunlop Z2's, but they are too short to run as dailys with the Eibach Sportlines on. I race them from time to time, but They are probably coming off and will be replaced with the stock Pirelli's. Just too much compromise, and I can't run F-Street, so...
By my calculations, the only way a 19x11 would fit up front with their offset would be with a 25mm spacer, and some fender rolling depending on the tire size and camber.
I have 19x9.5's with 35mm offset, and have between 18.5 and 16.5mm clearance to the strut depending on camber between -1.0...
Well, after measuring, I'm relatively enthused.
On the 19x9.5 SVE's 35 or 36et, I have about 18.5mm (0.75in) to the strut tower.
So for a 19x10, and at least a 305, if I can find one with a 42 offset, It should work in the front. Possibly a 45 would work, which there are reasonable RTR...
I have plates as well. I'm glad it was mentioned about the aftermarket. I might have forgot to keep that in mind. With - 3.0 to -3.5 in front camber I'm thinking I might be close to being able to swing it with maybe a 5mm spacer. With a 35 offset and 5mm spacer that would put the rim about a...
Has anyone attempted a 19x11 or 19x10 on the front?
I have 19x9.5 et 35 SVE drift on the front now, but hope to go 19x11 square soon With 305's to start.
Looks like typical 19x11 rear offset is 55.
I have the MF comp on my Base as well.
I think we may be getting more with the 3.31 and where we tend to be at highway speeds.
Mine, as some have said, seems to have quieted down some now that there is 3000 miles on it or so.
