I had to buy a cheapo unit (with a switch), since the 'official' one wasn't available yet, and zero issues so far. It was recommended by the F150forum back then, and somebody posted exactly the one I got earlier on this thread. But the new 'official' one probably makes more sense now :).

Oh, and talking about dealer stupidity, many dealers here (TX) do something even worse than slapping a sticker: Drill the front bumper to install a front license plate bracket. And this is even stupider when we're basically neighbors with NM, which doesn't require a front plate. Why not wait...
