just picked up a full set of Yokohama Advan Apex 601 summer tires sizes 255 40-19 front and 275 35 19 for the rear. haven't had a chance to put them on yet. so was wondering if anyone has tried these yet and what they think? just waiting to roast the stock rears off before i put them on.

The rear ones should be 275/40/19, especially when you kept the front ones stock (255/40/19). It's a substantial decrease in circumference for the electronics, so your ESC (electronic stability control) might go nuts. Will let the experts chime in, but you should have done 285/35 as a minimum, if you wanted 35 in the rear. Good luck.

Planned on correcting that with my tuner. haven't installed yet. so don't think there will be any issues once programmed.

Car will probably look a bit weird with shorter rear tires than the front ones, but if that's the look you want, up to you then. And that'd also affect your speed by 4% (car will be an extra 4% slower than what speedo says).

Speedo will be accurate after the tune is in place.
