initially, I was very worried about my tech pack being completely useless on the track going to limp mode after 10mins just like any other tech/base cars.
but then I calm down a little bit and think about the situation as a whole: get the tranny cooler, run two hoses, and run an external pump...
the factory tranny cooler can't be that bad tho. R/Track had been running all day long. I would prefer the OEM cooler simply b/c we know it would fit without issues.
but of course the most important thing is having a pump with a high enough flow rate to cycle those fluids non stop.

so the hood piece is laser cut too? i was told no laser can cut sheets more than 60'', and the hood is longer or wider than 60''.
this is so depressing, non-track pack cars can only last 10-15mins max in a cold, middle of the winter night on a short track. By the time summer comes maybe even 5mins in board daylight will be considered lucky.
this is no longer a track capability issue, this is clearly a design flaw which...
Ford should own up, and fix the tech/base for us.

unfortunately it won't be a no cost. the track pack guys will be angry if it is. they paid 6500 USD extra now ford is giving away the most important content for free?
I agree with montreal ponies tho labor should be free (as if this is warranty issue) and parts on us at a reasonable price.

-produce some sort of scoop or shield to block the 2 cats from heating up the tranny
-increase the temp limit which will trigger the limp mode
-higher capacity cooler with holds more oil
-better fluid

with the exception of 1 tech pack car, every single tech/base car went to limp mode after 10-15mins.
I know ford is working on a solution, they have to. but it also makes me wonder what kinda testing were they doing in the first place? if they know the car...
ok that's not that bad then. a typical 3-group track days the wait time will be 30-40mins anyways.
I may bring my generator with me and bring a couple of big floor fans next time. or leaf blower.

do they just sit it out for a bit? let the tranny cool down so the ECU get out of limp mode and then they can go back on track again?
