dumb question does replacing the stock spring with steeda's make the clutch lighter or heavier?
some says it is lighter others says it is heavier than stock.
confused.
probably when they changed the oil filter, oil got spilled all over the under panel(happens to me, next time i will drill a small hole in the filter to let the oil flow out first)
if you jack the car up, can you see any oil dripping from the under panel?
i found the filter gets really dirty pretty easily
thinking about getting the k+n ones, they don't have gt350 listed but i suppose i can use theirs for the gt500, as some posters said it is direct fit
forgot to add the steering is not on the same level, the M3's 12.5:1 hydraulic setup is just a dream on track. also it is specific tuned to the M3.
meanwhile the GT350's 16.5:1 steering is a direct port of a 22k v6 s550. it is okay for an EPS, but believe me its no hydraulic
if Ford Performance comes out with an ITB kit for voodoo that will be truly sick. faster response and higher rev i would imagine too. maybe over 560hp easy.
the entire kit + install+tune will most likely run over 7-8k
OP,
Most of the forum will tell you the R cannot be matched by any car, let alone a 8 year old E92 M3. That is cause most of forum never driven anything past 6500rpm, let alone 8600rpm.
I went to track the other day, there is an e92 m3 with some after market exhaust believe or not, sounds way...
current owner of E92 M3 i don't find voodoo is that unique or special. it is powerful, sounds bad ass, but not that special vs s65.
no ITB, much lower hp peak at 7500rpm, lower redline, and slower response due to longer stroke and heavier crank.
s65 is way more race-like than voodoo. FPC or...
lol
8 ITB vs. 1 big TB,
44lbs vs 50lbs, those are just hard facts
and 7x mm stroke vs. 94 mm stroke makes a big difference in response.
the truth is it is not even close, look at how slow the rev falls in gt350. and look at how fast rev falls on 600cc/999cc bikes which is FPC with super short...
agreed, but my point is you can get to gts -type of performance for under 7k-8k by getting the factory performance pack which is 444hp, and a stage 1 tune.
the car is a monster, straight line or track.
I currently have a LCI E92 M3, and a GT350 tech.
In terms of engine, I would say M3 is more special. It has a lighter crank, 44lbs vs. 50lbs of voodoo, way shorter stroke meaning faster rev up, and also 8 ITBs. the response is not close, s65b40 wins hands down. also the induction noise is...
the 500hp m4 gts does 0-150mph in 18.7s which is matching gt3 rs...
gt350 0-150mph = 22.1s

to get to 500hp you just need a...
thanks OP I was able to get an inter set of washers with 3/8 in outer diameter that fits perfectly into the 1'' washer you bought with 3/8 inner diameter. Then i just keep drilling until the inner washer fits the bolts, and yes it is about 1/4 in in diameter. now it is snag and perfect.
want to...
the truth is no EPS will ever beat HPS in feel.
having said that, the GT350's EPS is pretty good, it is pretty direct, no lag. the 16.5:1 ratio is not that good tho.
on the track my E92 M3's 12.5:1 HPS with fat steering wheel is a dream.
