  1. REAR VIEW MIRROR BLURRING PROBLEM

No problem, hope you get this resolved. BTW, all caps is considered shouting, hence the comments. Cheers!
  2. Shift Knobs

If it were me I'd try blue Loctite first, red should be illegal, lol. I'm surprised they didn't use a set screw or a thin jam nut.
  3. REAR VIEW MIRROR BLURRING PROBLEM

Damn you ... now I've got to check Netflix and Amazon Prime and see if they have Gumball Rally
  4. REAR VIEW MIRROR BLURRING PROBLEM

I was wondering if someone would come up with this :headbang:
  5. Is the GT350 the most fun automobile you have driven? If not what is the most fun.

I'm expecting delivery of my GT around 8/28, but it will have to go a ways to top my old 7 second 190 mph Super Comp dragster for an adrenaline rush. 3000GT VR4 was a fun ride too.
  6. REAR VIEW MIRROR BLURRING PROBLEM

I agree with your statement, but, please TURN OFF YOUR CAP LOCK!
  7. Age?

Thanks! I missed Nam through the good fortune of having a very high draft number the last two years, though I have several friends and relatives who served. IMO, our Vietnam Vets never got the recognition they deserved. God bless you, and thanks for your service!
  8. Age?

Thank God, I was beginning to feel like the resident old fart, 60 here. :D
  9. MY VOODOO IS USING OIL !

Exactly (or close) to what I said several pages back, thanks for the confirmation!
  10. warped brake rotors

    Agreed 100%
  11. warped brake rotors

I agree, his rotors probable aren't warped, I was only commenting that it can happen, it's not totally unheard of. FWIW, the rotors I've checked were not drilled or slotted but were truck rotors, Ford Excursion for one and I had them chucked in a lathe, not on the vehicle. I've managed a CNC...
  12. warped brake rotors

Lol, don't know if I'd go as far as "flaming idiot", but I've checked rotors with a dial indicator and they can definitely warp.
  13. Removing Shift Knob

IMHO, red Loctite should require a license to buy
  14. Transmission and differential fluid change/upgrade.

This is really not that uncommon, I had a Mustang with an optional close ratio 4 speed back in the 70's and it used ATF.
  15. My E85 Dyno Graph - 521 HP

Hogan is well worth the money if you're purely after performance, they make some of the best manifolds available. You'll see them on many Pro Stock as well as Comp Eliminator engines. It's what we ran in C\ED. Their manifolds are a work of art, IMHO.
  16. MY VOODOO IS USING OIL !

Your call, but I wouldn't hesitate to call and speak with Mike at Ford Performance, great guy and might be able to help.
  17. MY VOODOO IS USING OIL !

Man, I can't believe this hasn't been taken care of yet, valve seals should be a simple fix. Please keep us updated, I still don't see how they diagnosed this as bad seals. After this much time I might be concerned about carbon build up on the valves if the seals are leaking that bad.
  18. Anyone with a GT350/R thinking of a GT500?

A lot would depend on exactly what the 500 winds up being. Coming from a drag racing background I might be interested in TT V8 with an auto ... we're drag racers, we don't have to turn :paddle:. If you can turn you're not going fast enough :first:. (Nip puts on firesuit)Let the flaming begin ...
  19. Damn! Not even a week old, 100 miles and on a flatbed!!

Going thump could be indicative of slack in the drive train, i.e. bad u-joint or coupler.
  20. Damn! Not even a week old, 100 miles and on a flatbed!!

I've seen this happen. A friend had a Plymouth Satellite and was chasing a newly married couple out of town after the wedding, I was a ways behind him. The front of the driveshaft came loose ... never saw a car that high in the back, you could see his entire under carriage. This happened on an...
