  1. How do you not break your MT82?

I learned how to drive stick shift on a ā€˜67 Ford F-100 with three on the tree, so I tend to think the one in my S550 feels pretty good.
  2. Removing front spring

How To Remove S550 Mustang Struts, Shocks, & Springs (2015-2023) - YouTube I am computer challenged, but I think I got it done.
  3. Removing front spring

Thanks for the replies. I will have the two-piece compressor ready, but maybe try the "jack lowering" method first. I have time to think about it while waiting on my springs.
  4. Removing front spring

LMR has a video removing front spring by removing upper mount nut first and relieving spring tension with a floor jack under the lower control arm. Anybody done this? Is it really that easy?

New owner here. What exactly is causing the tick?
  7. Widow sticker- differences in performance package price?

This makes it even more puzzling coming from the same model year.
  8. Widow sticker- differences in performance package price?

My 2022 Mustang was shipped to Canada and somehow ended up back here in the States where I acquired it. In another window sticker thread, another member got me a copy of my window sticker, and after comparing another person's window sticker from a 2021 with same options I see that: My 2022 PP...
  9. S650 Mustang GT3 Unveiled at Le Mans!

Maybe that wing will be part of the next performance package. That would turn some heads. ( not in a good way)

  12. Fuel System Randomly Primed

I’m happy just to find out what this noise is. Opening the door primes the fuel system? Interesting. I haven’t had the car long, so hadn’t looked into source of noise. Mine did it once just walking past it in garage, fob was in house. Sometimes I’m surprised at what I learn from reading random...
  13. 87 octane and timing

That's what the knock sensors are for. FWIW I have never heard it knock, even at WOT with 87. Don't worry though, I'm going to start pumping in the expensive stuff.
  14. 87 octane and timing

Yes, dealer filled 'er up and about a half tank of free gas from a station that only has 87. I won a contest.
  15. 87 octane and timing

Like I stated, I'm going to use premium. Question was will I have immediate results when switching from 87 or will there be a computer learning curve.
  16. Is your Mustang a 2-seater or a 4-seater?

I have to move my seat more forward than normal for operating the clutch because of my short legs, and still not enough room for an adult (my kids are grown). I feel like if I asked someone to ride back there it would be equivalent to saying "I hate your guts".
  17. 87 octane and timing

I've put about 400 miles on my car since purchasing it. It has had only 87 octane in it since I have had it. I have read on a couple threads that 87 is fine but the timing curve is most likely being retarded because of spark knock, thus giving up a little power. My question is, has the computer...
  18. 2018 MT82 Very hard to shift into any gear

Glad to hear that you lived thru it. I'm guessing by the looks of the damage you will be sore for a few days.
  19. Rationale for choosing Ecoboost HPP over GT?

Or someone making a pan of brownies and not putting chocolate frosting on them.
