And the 1974 Mustang II won Motor Trends car of the year.
  2. Stock Air Filter vs AEM Dry Flow Filter

I installed an Injen Evolution air intake on my '22 to eliminate the restrictive factory piece with the honeycomb stuff in there. Ran it while I was waiting on my tune and didn't notice any seat of the pants difference in power, and no codes. Added a 93 octane tune which woke up the car at low...
  3. What floor jacks do you guys use? (lowered 500's too)?

This one works well for me. As a super, splendid, spectacular, mind blowing bonus you get a choice of colors.

Yup, 5/8'' on the front of mine.
  5. Recall: #23C35 BODY CONTROL MODULE BCM CONFIGURATION UPDATE

  6. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – January 2024

It never seems to warm up for good here in central Illinois until about mid-May. At least not to my liking. Snow tonight, snow next week,. Those black wheels are really "popping".
  7. Custom tune for a Stock vehicle

I have a ’22 manual and got a 93 octane tune. Only mod is an Ingen Evolution air intake. It made a very noticeable difference in the lower rpm power (got rid of the low rpm bog). Donā€˜t know total hp’s gained, but well worth it in my opinion for waking up the engine at the low rpm’s. Edit-93...

  12. The "how to disable the data link to Ford" thread

    Thanks for the quick replies.
  13. The "how to disable the data link to Ford" thread

I know this is a GT500 thread, but I have a '22 GT and was wondering if anyone can tell me if the module in the pic below is the correct one. If it is, which of the three connectors get disconnected. The second picture shows better the orientation of the module in front of the left rear taillight.
  14. Why is oil level such a PITA to determine?

This thread makes me realize that the dipstick got its name from the person using it, not vice versa.
  15. Continental Sport Contact 6 , anyone running these tires?

I don't have an answer to your question, but am interested in how many miles you got out of the P-Zero's?
  16. Why is oil level such a PITA to determine?

Who or what are you referring to with this sentence.
  17. Found a used mustang that I like but the interior has issues--ceramic colored seats over black. Options?

Yeah, it's almost like there needs to be more white in the interior to make that work. This is the interior of my '65.
  18. oil life

Actually the computers controlling the engine makes it run cleaner, along with using synthetic oil that does not break down like conventional oils did back in the old days equals oil change intervals not being as important. If you like to change it every 5000 miles but don't get it done until...
