Hi All what should the FP and FPM pids be reading in Forscan?. mine reads FP - 22% FPM - 40% This is at idle as well as WOT. Fuel pressures are good just trying to locate a hesitation surge issue and I’m thinking it’s the fuel pump. thanks

Thanks Wish I could but quiet to normal mode is a big jump. I wish I could control the valve to be very slightly opened in quiet mode but I can figure out how to do that.

Hi I can’t really explain why at the moment but if I were to drill a small hole say 1cm in the valve of the active exhaust valves would this make quiet mode slightly louder with the hole ? thanks

Just wondered if anyone out there has modified their Borla Stype mufflers so that quiet mode pipe is louder ?. what I mean is that when the flap is closed the exhaust is bypassed to the quieter pipe. Anyone modified that ? cheers

Not really sure. Mine is reading 40+ misfires in mode 6 for a 30 min trip but when I check short and long term trims they are absolutely perfect. I’m guessing something with the fuel pump

Hi Did you ever get this looked at ?. mine does exactly the same noise and it’s the HPFP solenoid. Will stop instantly when it’s unplugged. but I have the same noise and I’m having some intermittent driveability issues and this could be cause.

These cars dont have fuel filters do they ? They are built into the fuel pump as a non servicable part. I think the pump has a sock though that can get dirty.
