    Early cars with defects can take much longer to ship than those produced later which include the fix. Sounds like just a few hundred cars to me which are being ferried off site for the fix.

    Here's what I do. I have the dealership remove everything from the windows and interior which isn't much and clean the windows. Finish PPI and then leave it alone. I then clean myself or have it detailed on the outside depending on condition. New car delivery wash bays ---- uggghhhhh!

    I owned a 14 GT500 and put almost 14k miles on it. Great car when going where the nose is pointed. Anything else, not so great. Just a different car. I will look at getting a new one depending on how they configure it.

    No scratching but I must admit the stripes are the weakest part of the car, in terms of quality.
