You'll get used to the throttle manipulation needed on a boosted manual. Just takes time. I can drive mine like a granny with my wife in the car, open it up enough to make my 5yr old daughter squeal and hit 160+ when I'm alone feeling squirley.

My r2s preform like dog shit once they get under 4/32s. Once they hit 2/32s I turn them into burnout tires until their gone. That's about all their good for at that point. I ran my last set from 2/32s down to here with 4-5 great smoke shows.

DRs don't have to run at a low psi for street driving and the Nitto R2s are good in the rain.

The BBQ tick isn't consistent. That definitely sounds like it. More pronounced than most though.

Twins here. I love them and I'd go the same route if I boosted my car again but I definitely don't think I'd call them the most reliable. If you do all your own work it's not bad but I'd hate to have this set up if I was paying someone to work on my car.
