Given the choice I would keep and manual Mach 1 and get the GT 500.
Do you have the room or inclination to compromise and put the convertible under a carport? I am currently renting a garage-less house and sprung for a carport to keep my cars semi-protected.
None of the places available at the...
I don't believe modes matter with the Tremec or MT-82, it's more of a result of sustained rpm. I can't speak to the A10.
My 23 M1 at almost 1700 miles is reporting 20.7 mpg with just under 30 days of ownership and mixed driving.
I saved 41% over USAA with Erie through a local broker, replacing my (sold) 2018 Fusion with the 23 Mach 1 on that policy cost me $127 through next June. I also leveled up my coverage significantly over the USAA policies.
As others have stated, get away from big insurance and move to a local...
Honestly, i.wondered the same thing as I was driving 700 miles home from picking up my Mach 1.
Now, I don't really look at mpg anymore. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the M1.
I would like the Nav info up there without a destination though. I was used to that from my Fusion...
I have pretty much always been in the ROI camp when it comes to "upgrade" car parts, headers, exhaust, etc. as I have never be the one to try to extract another 11 HP by spending $700. I drove my 2015 for almost 70k with the stock shifter and never had an issue out of it or the MT-82.
A Shelby...
First, I found this thread while taking a lunch break and ChipG did a great job documenting his install.
This is the link to the MGW product page with youboob videos. The install video is very useful unless you have done this install before.
Between the two references above I am not going to...
My local dealer saved me $400, fixed this roofing nail flat without damaging the wheel in any way.
Balanced out with 1 oz of weight, the factory balance was about 4.5.
Washed afterwards.
ignorant question, I have looked a quite few wheels, many of which state, "will not clear GT 350/500 brakes".
So, is 3 mm enough clearance?
Or will the barrel deflect under stress and hit some portion of the caliper?
That isn't cool for the price tag we pay, hopefully your dealer can get that fixed without causing more problems.
I fixed an alignment issue with the right side of my bumper cover. I wasn't going to trust that to go right with body shop lackeys that most likely lack the proper level of care.
2 months???? I don't know how you can go that long. I look for reasons to drive mine.
Assume it was an HP car?
Perhaps they took off the splitter to keep it in one piece?
Some of the M1 HP cars delivered without the wheel molding. (supply chain shortage)
Finally installed hood struts.
Oddly Redline didn't include washers on the lower ball studs. I added some along with blue lock-tite.
The hood opens and closes smoothly. We'll worth the cost and effort.
If they balance high they should have broken the bead and rotated the tire a 1/4 turn until the weight comes down.
Some balancers detect the high spot and tell the operator how much to rotate the tire for optimal balance.
Significant weight is lazy at best, incompetence is more likely. Take...
